I have had the pleasure of spending many a long night talking with Shewhois. I will always remember her strength and wisdom. Remember the nights when I was feeling down and Shewhois always knew the right thing to say to help me to get my thoughts into perspective. Shewhois always saw the positive side of life. Her awesome strength made me realize we could endure anything life tossed our way. Her sense of humor always made me laugh. Shewhois was a great part of WomensSpace and I am so thankful that I was able to get to know her. She touched my heart in a way that I can not explain.
(((Shewhois safe journey my friend)))

You are part of my heart as well and I know you are in great pain right now. Please know that if I can give you a bit of strength and healing I want to do that as a thank you to both you and your mom for being a part of my life. Shewhois sent us all loving, healing, white light and now I would like to send it to you. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My friend, a true Steel Magnolia

Shewhois was a suthern woman. Strong willed, determined, outspoken, forthright, opinionated and sassier than tabasco sauce when she chose to be.

I shall miss this wonderful woman, who always knew exactly who she was. She was charming, wise, had an ascerbic wit and could zero to the heart of any matter at the speed of light.

Shewhois was gentle, kind, sweet and loving but did not suffer fools gladly. She baited snerts with a delightful zest when we homed on that other server. <G>

In the next breath she took, her thoughts would turn to dealing with a problem or simply answer with her tremendous sense of humor.

I feel fortunate she counted me as one of her loving friends. I shall miss her physical presence in my life tremendously, but she will always be alive, because she lives in my heart

Almost perfect is how I would describe this wonderful woman who we were all blessed to know. I say almost perfect because she herself will tell you nobody is perfect. The only person I know that has learned from every other moment in her life, stopping in-between only to teach those of us who needed to learn. Whenever I would tell anyone about SheWhois it was always "she is the wisest person I've ever met" and my God that is an understatement! To me she had the voice and reason that you listened to..no in one ear and out the other when it came to her. The most important thing she has taught me was how to put life's most hurtful situations into perspective so that you can learn from them, let them go, and move on. Something that I needed in my life so I can grow into the woman that I am today. I love who I am now and I owe that all to her and I promise that I will pass that along to anyone who will listen. And maybe one day I will be almost as perfect as this almost perfect woman we all knew as she who is....

Rainbowzz, Thank you so much again for everything you have done. I admire your dedication and strength through out all of this...You are greatly appreciated and I love you. I'm here if you need me and I know many others are as well so please come to us when you need us...

((((((( Rainbowzz)))))),
((((((shewhois))))) what she meant to me.. she was always a special lady. So much love, so much strength, and she shared it all never held it back. Her "white light" kept many of us going we felt the warmth of it.
I had the awesome priviledge of talking to both Rainbowzz and Shewhois a few weeks ago..
All I know is that I called to offer her some of my strength. Only to get off the phone feeling her strength in me.
We will miss her, but Know we will always feel her "White Light" around us especially when we need it..
Rainbowzz talking to you I know you have a lot of your mom's strength she will forever be with you, you will feel her in many aspects of your life.. believe me.
Shewhois rest in peace and in white light .
((((((Rainbowzz to you and your family))))) may her love forever surround you ..

(((((((shewhois)))))))She will always be because she will be in our hearts. She will walk with each one of us in time of need or just when we need a smile.

((((rainbowzz))))) Shewhois has passed the light on to you now and carry that light proudly. You also bring great joy to every roomie who has ever met you or shewhois. Walk proud ~ stand tall and remember all the arms that are holding you up now in your time of need.

Remembering Shewhois

(((((((Shewhois)))))))) Remembering your compassion, your determination and your love. May you continue to shine with White Light in the memory of those that you blessed with your presence in life.

I was so saddened to hear the news that Shewhois had died early this morning.

But with the sadness, was relief that Shewhois was finally out of pain, and joined with the White Light, which she so strongly identified with, and would always send to the #WomensSpace roomies.

I last spoke to Shewhois on the phone a few weeks ago, and rather than being immersed in her own pain and suffering, she wanted to know how I was doing. That is typical of her, always thinking of the other person, always giving. She was looking forward to being in a place where she was able to do even more good, and send more White Light to those in need.

It's good to remember all the special things about Shewhois. She was often a participant in Writer's Chat, and you can read some of her contributions under her ottersong nickname in the Writers Chat archives at http://www.lodinet.com/pappy/ottersongcontents.htm. One poem in particular, springs to mind, Ottersong, which brought tears to my eyes when I re-read it just now.

To Rainbowzz, I would like to offer my condolences, and admiration for the way you have been by your mother's side, throughout her final journey. Despite your own ill health, you were there for her in a way that I know she appreciated. She would often talk about how proud she was of you, how much she cared for you.

Light and love.

I was not as fortunate as other roomies who had the distinct pleasure in knowing your mother. But in my family, when we lose a loved one we console each other with stories and memories. So I will tell you my memory. I don't get to come to WS very often and when I do I tend to keep to myself quite a bit. Shewhois came in once when I was there. It was obvious from the moment she entered that she was well-loved by all in the room who knew her. So, I sat and watched and participated in a little chat banter here and there. I can't tell you what was said, who was there, or what the topic was. All I do know is I was mesmerized by this woman. Her energy, her purposefulness, her self-confidence...well, it's hard to describe, but it all came thru the screen like nothing I had ever experienced in a chat forum before. She had a way with words that only those who were witness to could understand. She made me feel like part of the group even though I had never spoken to her prior to that day or since. I do know I was so overwhelmed (in a positive way) that I remarked about the effect she had on me afterwards.
My sincerest condolences on your loss and heaven's gain. My thoughts are with you, your family, and all who were touched by this wonderful woman.

Shewhois... why did she choose the nick?

I asked her one day, and she told me she had named herself in honor of a Rodin statue, entitled "She Who Was the Helmet-Maker's Beautiful Wife" -- http://www.artchive.com/artchive/R/r...miere.jpg.html -- but with a difference. "The old woman in the statue is one who 'was' beautiful," she said. "I'm at least as old as she is, and I'm Shewho*is* -- wrinkles and all."

I had the honor, in September 2000, of finding out that this was true. I had to travel to the United States, and unbeknownst to her (thanks, Rainbowzz, for helping me plan, putting me up, and keeping the secret!), I planned my trip to start in her city, so I could be with her on her birthday. Meeting her was a rare gift.

But then, every chat with her was a rare gift. We talked about anything and everything, in the room and 1/1. She was a self-educated woman; she had had to leave school early, but she never stopped learning. The depth and breadth of her knowledge were equaled only by the immensity of her compassion.

Living in Israel meant that the start of my day was the end of hers; she loved the fact that we could converse so rewardingly and the ideas would not fall asleep with her, but stay awake with me.

{{{{{Shewhois}}}}} Rest well, dearest one. All of the marvelous thoughts that I had the privilege of sharing with you will not sleep with you. I will be honored to pass them on, and I will think of you with undying love forever.

{{{{{Rainbowzz}}}}} Know I am with you, in light and love.

(((((( Rainbowzz )))))))) My thoughts are with you during this sad time. May you be soothed by comforting white light.

I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to spend a few short times in WomensSpace with Shewhois and regret not having known her for longer. It was from this wise woman that I learned about "White Light". When she came into the room, all would stop and enthusiastically wait to hear what she had to share. The love for this most wise, generous, thoughtful, peaceful, loving, kind woman will follow the white light path as she continues on her journey.

((((((shewhois )))))))) May your journey
reward you for all you have done. I feel honoured to have had you in my life
and thank you for all you have done for the roomies. Your physical presence in the room will be terribly missed, but we know that you will be here with us in spirit. Whenever I hear the term "white light" I will think of you.

((((((( Rainbowzz ))))))) We are here for you, and once the business of the next few days has subsided, please remember to look after yourself and to rest and take care of yourself.

Sending strength and comfort,
Am I a super spammer yet?
