A bit on the thin side

I know a lot of you will not understand my problem but I have difficulty keeping weight on. In this age of body beautiful and everyone trying to reach a target weight it is very difficult to comvince the vast majority of people that yes, this is my size! Yes, I do eat (rather a lot in fact)! And no, I do not have an eating disorder! I am as much frowned upon because of my size as any overweight person; which leads me to the conclusion that an awful lot of people, women in particular, are far too quick to pass remarks about anything that doesn't fit into their, or society's, interpretation of what is normal!

Probably that etherea among other things like personal issues maybe? As long as you are healthy and not weak, I see no problem. Have you ever had your thyroid checked? Some people are just naturally thin. I use to be that way at one time, but lately there are these extra 10 that feel a need to follow me around. Notice how I don't take responsibility? wink, wink

Hahaha! I am very active and even though I eat a lot there is never any junk in there. I will give you an example of my daily imput:
6:00am coffee and 3 small soya biscuits
8:30ish coffee and cereal or toast or croissants
lunchtime a sandwich and fruit
5.00pm 3 course meal
7.30pm green tea and digestive biscuit
9.00pm an apple or some other fruit

You're a healthy eater. So you are burning it as fast as it goes in. I could be more active although I do stairs instead of elevators at work (most times) and try to stay busy...no real routine, but busy non the less. But maybe I need to burn more than I am. I think you are just wired that way etherea. My brother was the same way for many years.

I do stairways instead of lifts at perform (most times) and try to remain active...no actual schedule, but active non the less. But maybe I need to get rid of more than I am. I think you are just wired that way etherea. My sibling was the same way for many decades.

Maybe my enforced "rein in the lunacy a wee bit" will keep my weight up

Years ago, a friend of mine had the same problem of keeping weight on. We'd kid back and forth, since I have to struggle to lose, while she struggled to gain. One time, she had the flu for almost a week; during that time, she dropped 5 pounds. It took her 4 weeks to gain it back.

The weight struggle is real, no matter which side we're on.

Too true. But I’m now at the age this is me. I weight way too much but if it’s a problem it’s yours not mine
