I really don't understand why anyone who doesn't need reconstructive plastic surgery would ever have plastic surgery. Maybe I have had too much surgery and just am not attached to the whole body image thing. I do try to stay at the proper weight and all that, but that is for health reasons. Can anyone help me understand?
My mom always said that I marched to the beat of a different bass player.

The O.C. was brilliant the other night. All the self-referential jokes cracked me up. Someone I know said all the meta made her head hurt!
{{{{The O.C.}}}} The Apprentice: Now that it's down to four people, I'm not sure who I want. I liked Heidi, but after her mom got sick, I don't think her head was in the game any more. Who else was following the Apprentice? On a funny note, I had a dream with Kwame in it the other night! He was a multi-millionaire CEO of a company and a helicopter pilot. Some friends and I were taking a trip around NYC with him...LOL

I still can't decide who I like on American Idol. I am glad they got rid of Matt last night. He, Leah, and Camille were the "weakest links", I think. However I think I can narrow it down to either LaToya or George Huff.
I really enjoyed the 16 year old girls performance, I've forgotten her name, over the past few weeks. It's amazing to me that one so young can be so comfortable on the stage. I think she'd probably win it all if she was a couple of years older. Her voice needs a little more maturing I think. Did anyone watch it this week?

Yep. Is Diana Degarmo the 16 year old?
I like George and JPL the best. Fantasia and Latoya are good, too...and Amy did a nice job this week, even though Simon didn't "get it." Frankly, I don't usually "get" country music, either!

I don't know the date but I know you haven't missed it. They still have a few shows to run but they've been showing repeats for the past couple of weeks. Next week is another repeat.
I"m with Simon and Liam. I don't get country music but unlike Simon I understood that Amy had done a good job. George makes me smile. I love his smile and his church bounce thing. He sends out such a warm vibe. |

That's what I like about him too. This past week I think I heard some Luther Vandross in him too. He really is much better than what we've seen thus far I think.
I don't care too much for the song that Amy sang, but she did a great job. I wonder if Country music can accept a singer with pink har?

I think that Diane is the 16 year old. Previously, I was a LaToya fan, but George has been so consistantly good with both his song choices and his performances. I really like watching and listening to him because he just seems to have this huge inner strength and joy.
It looks like I need to start watching OC. I've only seen one episode and I did like it. I really don't know why I've never watched it again. And from all the posts here about it, it seems like I am missing a good show.

Any predictions on who's going to get voted off Idol tonight? Mine is John Stevens.
brede, I am in the same boat. I really like LaToya, but George is just so fun to watch. I think he's really nailing his songs now too. He did a great job last night. I thought Fantasia was great also, but I'm not sure I'd like to listen to her voice long term. She sort of reminds me of Macy Gray who I can only take in small doses too, lol.
