I took some local glass blowing classes, it is very addictive. I trying to talk my hubby into making me a furnace here so I can do it at home...he hasn't bought into the idea yet...

Wow, Jane, that's pretty exciting! I have one granddaughter and a grandson. Definitely exciting, waiting for the little ones.

I'm working on a knit blanket...

I have just finished a multi coloured cardigan for my youngest granddaughter, am working on a new sweater for myself which is being made from an unravelled wrap that I made because i loved it and is totally unsuitable for the climate here. I am making 10 pairs of earrings in silver and hand painted woooden beads that will be for sale in the UK. Oh! A hat from a mixture of left over yarn. One of these with the flaps and long tassles. It's looking good so far!

etherea, you sound very talented! I have done my share of crocheting way in the past. Got kind of tired of it after making bed spreads I guess. Is this a full time business or just a part time thing?

It's a new venture. I've always made things for myself and am rather fed up of people asking if I can do something for them so I thought what the hell maybe I can make some money from this. We shall see!

Well I know in the US we have craft fairs and such. Not sure about in the UK though. Yet many people buy things like that for gifts for different reasons. Good Luck!

I'm a beader. I'm also a belly dancer and I wanted more jewelry for my garb, but everything that I wanted was too expensive. So I decided to learn how to bead. And now I love it.

What kind of beading? What size beads? Do you do it by hand aka off loom or using a loom? What kind of desigsns? Just curious Rhiannon.
