Wolfangel, I'm not showing any of your messages awaiting approval and you're not showing as a moderated user. I'm not sure what you're seeing, because moderated postings disappear once they're submitted and at that point, they're no longer visible to the user that made the posting.

As far as chat goes, I check the chat module periodically and it's been working normally at every check. With the range of devices, operating systems, network configurations, and software applications available, WOW simply doesn't have the resources to troubleshoot individual member's connection issues. It's the individual's responsibility to determine whether their browser settings, anti-virus, firewall, or internet provider effects access to this or any other site, and to decide what change they're willing to make to those settings, if any.

If you cannot connect through java chat and also can't figure out why, then you can follow the instructions in the stickied "How to chat" thread under WOW Chatrooms and download mIRC or Ircle so you can access chat that way.

IRC has been the primary method of chatting in WOW since 1996 and the instructions for accessing WOW chatrooms via IRC have been posted on the forum since 2008. The only thing that has changed in that time is that mIRC now offers the IrCQ network as a choice in the default connection list, so you don't have to add it as a new connection.

And to the accusations of corporate greed in WOW... that's the funniest thing I've heard in months... fortunately, I was due for one of those belly laugh until you cry moments!

lol, kind of a joke as I can plainly see now since I have in the past emailed Tammy and another WOW associate only to not get a response! Maybe IRISH can help? Somebody must know how to stop getting notices here...I have looked at all the possibilities (I think) and I see nothing that would help. Thanks.

See at the top of the page there is a FAQ button? That should tell you everything you need to know. Off the top of my head, I believe it's under your user CP settings, but again, everything you ever wanted to know about these message boards should be on the FAQ page.

Once again I thank ((((((((( TammyWOW & Melynn )))))))))) With all the complaints no one thinks of all the work that goes into keeping this running. Actually I haven't a clue about all the mechanics behind it. Someone pass me a clue.

In all honesty I've been a member here for more years than are listed. They revamped in 2001. Always been proud to be a part of WOW, still am.
