Hello,
I am now trying to cope with a breakup of a nearly 20 year relationship. I am reaching out for friendship and communication with other gay women who can relate and who can listen. I can also listen and be a friend. I never thought I would be in this situation and the changes and pain are very unbearable at times. I am 53 years old. I would like to also be able to talk to women by phone or to meet for coffee to talk. I live in Ohio, in the North Royalton area, which is a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. Right now I am rambling. Soo many thoughts and worries. I tried to communicate with my one sibling but she told me that it's my problem so deal with it. I isolated myself in this ending relationship. She was my world. Totally and completely. She is 8 years younger and had a midlife crisis and decided to clean out her life. She lost alot of weight, got braces, is going to get lasik surgery, and she wants to have fun. If I ever have another relationship where I fall in love, she will be the most important person in my life but there will be a change in me. I will also have to be important in the relationship and it will need to be partnership where we will be able to talk and discuss and deal with problems as they crop up. Intimacy will also be essential. I will answer all who respond . |
