Canadian bowling...what is it?
I love to bowl! Unforuntily I haven't been for over 3 years. I have heard about a strange game that is played in Canada that is called bowling but isn't the same as what we play in the states. Perhaps a Canadian bowler could explain it for me. Thanks!

Hi Magnus!!
I'm not Canadian, but I wonder if you're talking about 5-pin bowling? http://www.cvnet.net/burnstd/thegame.htm

I would love to join a club and bowl on a team, but my average score of 70 would be seriously mocked! But gee, I do love to Bowl! Sunshine!

Sunshine find a handicap league. That's what I bowl on and we like the low scoring bowlers because that makes our team handicap higher. Besides with a handicap everyone is pretty well on an even scale.
