Who knows of grants for women returning to the workplace

Hello sisters,

I am starting this thread to help myself and others who are facing the same dilemma.

I am returning to the workplace and would like to know of any grants that might get me through a massage school. I currently work as a reflexologist and masseuse, but I wish to get liscencing, which means school, plus money. Anyone who helps me in finding a scholarship gets a free session from me when they're in NYC.

Would appreciate resources, referrals, advice, thoughts. So glad I found this site!

Try this site -- http://govbenefits.gov/index.jsp -- on the right side is an option to search specific programs. You select the categories and it will bring up all related grants.... and I do mean ALL related grants. I selected about 10 categories and it found 408. You can email to yourself the ones you want to investigate further. Good luck
