Adam's Dirt Cookies
Cookies with little pieces of cookie in them. I'm thinking of putting some oreo cookies in as the crumbs. What do you all think?
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup butter, softened 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In a medium bowl, cream the white sugar, brown sugar, and the butter together until smooth. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Add the flour mixture, and stir until just combined. Stir the crushed cookies into the dough. Cover, and chill the dough for 1/2 hour. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove to cool on wire racks. |

I've made dirt cake which follows the same type of recipe instead of chocolat cookie crumbs I do use oreos. Make it in a new planter and add gummy worms on the sides. )

I've seen recipes for dirt cupcakes with gummy worms, Irish. Either way, sounds like stuff kids would like...even those of us who haven't grown up completely!

Well, that is a good menu for the people who want a diet food like that. Maybe I can try to bake your recipe you have shown here. Thank you for this information about the baking recipes.
