Yesterday was zanys' birthday and I think I handled it well. We carved pumpkins and let a single balloon go for her. The kids looked up and told her happy birthday and that they loved her. And we made stew and ate all the taters out of it, LOL that is what she did when we made stew. We would have taterless stew cause she would eat them all..

Ya know Irish, everyone said it would get easier.. They were right.. (You) were right. Was hard this year but not as hard.. I didn't cry once. We celebrated her life! That is what she would have wanted
