Home Remedies?
Hi Everyone Does anyone have any home remedies for chronic ear infections? My ears are alway getting stuffed up and then I end up getting an infection. I would like to try something natural instead of taking antibiotics for it all the time.

Have you tried using a neti pot to clean out your sinuses? You may also want to try reducing your intake of mucous-forming foods like dairy and orange juice. Also, an old ayurvedic treatment for ear infections is to boil an onion or garlic, wrap it in a warm cloth and cover the opening of the ear.

Bellstarny hello I always use either a warm to hot water bottle and place it on my ear that is hurting or both looks funny though lol. but it feels so much better after about 20 mintutes. or I go and sit in the sun with the ear that is hurting pointing to the sun, the warmth helps out so much. Hope this helps hun

Just an update ears are ok but sinuses are whacky LOL Now I have a Ganglion cyst on the palm of my left hand. Fast growing, causing my ring finger to be tingling and etc. Sometimes the middle finger. Swollen painful to touch and annoying least to say. Here is the URL link at webmd about it: www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/ganglion_cyst
Found out yesterday from my cousin that its from my fathers side of the family. Oh yay. Now have to see a hand surgeon for this. UGH!

Some thing my family has always done for ear aches. especially little babies. warm up a little olive oil with a clove of garlic. let the oil cool down enough, and just place a little drop of oil in the ear. stick a cotton ball in it to help keep the oil in. It always worked on my kids.
Good luck. |
