Food, glorious, food!
Oh, my word! I've just registered and already found what will probably become my home from home. I love food, eating it and preparing it. I'm one of these people that doesn't have a single convenience food or ready meal in my house. I shop at the weekly fruit and veg market for obviously my fruit and veg; the Chinese market for spices, rice, noodles etc and only use the supermarket for staples like milk, cheese etc. I do all my bread, buns cakes at home and spend more time in the kitchen than I would like (I laughingly call it a kitchen, most people have bigger bathrooms ). But what the hell, I want to eat good food and that is the price I'm prepared to pay.

Perfect! You have same habits like me. I am also want to prepare my food with myself. I really don't like any interference of people while I am cooking.

So, Etherea, what's your fall-back recipe? You know, you've had a bad day, somebody yelled at you, or maybe just feel the need for that old comfort food? Mine is Chicken in spicy Thai peanut sauce. Takes 20 minutes (including the rice!) and it makes me feel so good!
