Friendships

Be the Friend you would want for yourself. That said I wrote this today. So I apologize if I have ignored anyone or offended you.

Suzie: Hey

Lidia: Hi How are ya doin?

Suzie: Fine and you?

Lidia: well wanted to see what you are up too?

Suzie: Nothin much

Lidia: Well ya know I am coming over in a bit, but I will call ya first ok?

Suzie: Sure ok.

they both hang up. Suzie is waiting. and she waits. and in vain

Cause Lidia never called nor showed up. Mind you Suzie's front door was unlocked
for several hours.

Next day Lidia calls again. She gets this voicemail:

Hey this is Suzie I am busy, so you'll call me ok? Gotta go. Click

Morale of the story is: if you say you will do something and cant do it, then at least
call even leave a voicemail. For you see if you forget
your friends, sooner or later, they know you are TOO BUSY
and have forgotten them. So they wont call for fear of harassing you.
Thus you have no friend anymore. Is your friendships no worth of value for you to do this?

Aha but on the other hand, Lidia may have gotten unexpected company herself, or a phone call that distracted her, an emergency that came up. One never knows until they give the person a chance to tell them.
Stuff happens that we have no control over at times. A phone call may not have been possible in those circumstances. ...
Why leave the door unlocked if Lidia was going to call first before coming over!

Because Tom said Lidia was coming over! LOL
Yet Tom didnt tell Lidia so its Tom's fault for the misunderstanding.
