Syn, I admire you for wanting to hear my reply. Lets all keep an open mind, including me. I'll send my reply privately OK? Give me your worst LOL.
Jen, you are so sweet. I mean it. And they say women are catty. Well you may be the odd exception. It truly is an interesting and important time to be alive. |

No stones. While I don't agree with you the fact that you're voting the way you feel is right for you. Yes a lot of people got hurt with the stock market, that problem started before the Pres took office. We knew back then that it would be a long road to recovery. We are on that road. What we don't need is to take steps backwards & I feel very strongly that with Romney that is exactly what we would do.
Personally I don't believe in abortion, however it is not up to me to judge those who do, or to judge their reason. ( rape, abuse, etc ) . On taxes if you are rich you get a major tax break while middle class (me & lots of others ) get to pay a deeper share of taxes. Think of the retirement age being raised to 71/72 that will hurt a lot of people who are not in the best of health to work to that age. Anyone who thinks SS is a gift has it wrong, those of us that recieve it worked for it. If they take that & put into the stock market & the market takes another dive. ... they lose their only means of support. I'm voting democrat. God bless one & all.

FYI I am with IRISH on this. She states it to the point. Not meant to offend yet simply stated those are the reason I wont be voting for Romney at all. IMO Just look what he did while being Governor in Massachussettes.

I have a problem with congressional leadership. I don't like Boehner (R) OR Pelosi (D). We have to find people that care more about country than party. That's the only way we can really get things done.

The market has gone from just over 7000 to over 13,000 since Obama has been in office.

True enough. (At partially anyway, the market was just above 9500 when Bush left office)
But really getting the stock market to rise isn't difficult at all providing the Federal Reserve does two things; (1) simply print money out of thin air (QE 1, 2 & 3) and (2) hold interest rates below 1%. By doing these somple things the dollar becomes less valuable and investors are chased into the stock market. And the more people buying stocks, the market rises. Unfortunately you also get inflation. |

What we have to look at going forward is to find congressional leadership from both parties that care about country more than party. I've said this before. Until that happens we'll be stuck with partisanship that benefits nobody. I thought that Romney's concession speech was one of the classiest I've ever heard, and he addressed that issue.
I gained alot of respect for him. |
