I don't know if anyone remembers me, OK Melynn, I know you do lol... but I just sat here and read, with interest, all the posts over the last couple of weeks. I have not really participated in WOW chats, except to see if anyone I knew was in. I wish with all my heart that TF had been able to do what it looks like you all are doing. I do understand that we all have different things going on and I, myself, had to go on a LOA. I am not posting this to stir up trouble again as it seems things have calmed down here LOL, I just wanted to say Good Luck in your chance. I hope someday TF will get the same one. I have tried to do my "own" thing, a grief and loss chat, but over the last month, every Tuesday, I sat there alone, except for a wanderer here and there and an invite for a friend to come and chat. The Grief and Loss chat we had at TF was incredible and we had incredible hosts.
That was what got me "hooked" on TF and saved me when I was sinking in a depression. I don't know if any of you remember LuckiTF, but she has become my adopted cyber mom (mine committed suicide in 89 I even tried to let people e-mail me if they were interested in joining my support chat, and I sit here right now during it with no one in there so I surf. I am so sad right now it's not even funny. Sad about what I had and lost. I wish I never went on LOA because maybe I could have done something to keep TF going. I seriously mean that. I will give my chat a couple more weeks before I give my "baby" up because I cannot watch it "die" no one to come and be a part of it. Then maybe I will close myself off from chat altogether. I swear if I had one wish it would be to have TF and WOW back to how they were when I was hosting. Those were the days. OK, now I get off my soapbox. I hope you all don't mistake my sadness for anger because it truly is not. TF was my FOC, they called it Family Of Choice. I don't know if you have it here but I wish with all my heart my FOC was still alive and well. OK so that's 2 wishes LOL. I send out a HUGE HeartFelt hug to all of the family ((((((((((((((WOW,TF))))))))))))))) may time heal wounds and bring you back together. I know time has taken alot away but it sure looks like you are ready and raring to go. Good luck, my "sister" family. HeartFelt aka UncleBuck aka Kevin WOW, no pun intended lol.... did anyone fall asleep during this?? |

cookieart, thanks for your post. I also had a friend commit suicide in 96 so I am a "pro" at it, a pro I don't care to be. If you would ever like to come to my chat that I am hosting, e-mail me through the forum. I am giving it two more weeks and then I am done. I know ppl are hurting out there, I know I was and sometimes I still am and really could use the support. Especially suicide, being such a taboo in our society still. The pink elephant in the room. Thanks again and talk to you soon hopefully!!

Hi Heartfelt, it is nice to meet you. And I do understand about suicide on many different levels. There has been one person in every generation of my family (both sides) that has chosen suicide. Sometimes it doesn't feel like a choice. I am the one of this generation that is "most likely to" and I am still around. So I understand the urge from a very personal place. I am a master's level mental health counselor, who has worked with the "high risk" kid population for years. I am on disability now, so I'm around a lot. Email your site to me if you would like me to attend.

Hi! Hi! Hi! ((( Everyone ))) I finally have my internet up and going again.. after a little over a year. I had kept in touch with a few people, not as many as I should have. I regret that. I regret alot of things in life. We can't change the past, but we certainly can control today. We must remember that people come into our lives and leave our lives for reason. Whatever that reason is.. its beyond me. I have made some good friends through WOW and I love each and every one of you! We have to cherish each moment because we never know what will/can happen. I was offline for personal reasons. I had to clear my head and my heart. I'm glad to be back online and I miss chatting in WS. I was just in there, and this is actually my first visit to the boards in a long time. I wanted to see what was happening. I see that alot of chatters has vanished again. I'm sure things will perk up again, it has before. If not, we have emails and the boards to keep in touch. Like I said, I regret not keeping in touch more, that was my fault. I'm just glad to be back with my cyber family. I have missed you all. I plan on returning to hosting soon. I still have some things to take care... life is busy. I just wanted to say "HI" to EVERYONE! I MISSED YOU ALL sooooo much!!! xoxoxoxo

Heartfelt,
I've had a very difficult week, so you won't see me at your chat Tuesday. When is the next one?
