Nana,

When I was so lost, you reached out to me. When I felt alone, lost in this large and unforgiving world, you showed me that there are people who do care.

I'm not always proud of the way I think; I am human, but sometimes I can't see beyond myself. When I was hurting, I mean really hurting, you reached out to me. I haven't forgotten that, nor will I forget it.

At times I feel old; I sometimes think I know too much about how cold the world can be, but then you come along. You are one of those who seem to understand me even before I do. You are a rare gift and I give thanks for you.

To be your friend is an honor. You have a wonderful sense of humor and a gift of being able to show me what love is about. You among many, and like them, you stand out in my life.

I have heros, but not all of them are famous. Most of my heros are people like you: everyday folks who take the time to say: hey, how are you? Just thinking about you.

It's people like you that bring me back to earth. It's a place like this, WOW or TF's that are honest, caring, and yes, funny too. Makes for a nice round person...thanks for being a part of my circle of life.

Just that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
All my family gets together, people I have not seen

this Thanksgiving one of my nephews (fav one) invited us over.... he and his wife are expecting their first child around this weekend... but...we know babies don't always make their appearance on time... rofl I think they know they will be on a schedule for a long time when they do make it

this is the time to keep us guessing

Anyway getting back to Thanksgiving he (my nephew) will be doing the cooking ... WTG .... I'm a proud auntie can you tell

told them that makes me a great aunt .... but we already knew that .... rofl
