I've taken a sudden interest in Sting and Yes. Tomorrow I am going to pick up Eric Clapton's newest so who knows where that will lead me.
I also picked up a CD at an art show that has a guy who plays a Native American cedar pipe. This is my second CD of his and they are both very soothing.

Just put on India.arie (Voyage To India). Sunday mornings, my husband and I tend to listen to CDs while we kick back & relax. Consequently, lots of jazz, sometimes Patsy Cline, sometimes old Motown or easy listening.

We've been listening to Native American Flute music lately. It is so soothing and musically interesting. Greg is a dyed in the wool late 60's and early 70's hard rock. Just shows our age!!!

I just listened to a bunch of Native American stuff the other day. My favorite is a Cherokee stomp dance I have...fantastic stuff!

We went to a native american (or as I prefer to call them: People of Turtle Island as they were here before this was called America) flute festival. We are waiting on some materials we ordered about building flutes. Then all we need to do is set up the wood shop and we will be in business!

Sorry to be so boring, but I am currently listening to the sound of silence in my neighborhood. The clean up from Ivan seems to be done and every house has huge piles of branches, leaves, limbs, and non plant things in front. So it is really nice not to hear anything.
I, however, am really enjoying the hell out of it. One thing about hurricanes is that they are noisy from before they get to you and until well after they leave.

I used to know someone who did the internet radio broadcast in the evening and I would listen to that. But she had a baby and life moved on. I had completely forgotten about internet radio! Thanks for reminding me!

Saturday mornings, our local public radio station has a women's show (10-noon) with fantastic music, interviews, etc. (They also have it on the internet.)
I'm currently listening to The Burns Sisters. Great music... |

I found a native american station on line, it is so calming and soothing. Good for your soul music.
