Her eyes they shone like the diamonds. You'd think she were queen of the land, and her hair hung over her shoulders tied up with a black velvet band.... An Irish song in one's heart makes the heart smile.

Happy St. Patty's day!!
Today is the parade here in Utica. They had 16 Bag pipe bands!! Fun for all!!!!!

Our parade here in Denver is today too... my co-worker and her daughter are participating - they are step dancers.

Great on the parade's & the step dancers. Believe it or not when I was on the drill team being able to march on St Patrick's Day parade was a pleasure. Then as my daughters got old enough they joined a drill team, marched in the parades... and I still marched as a chaperone. One of those running around passing drinks of water to the kids.

Now I haven't been to a parade in about 4 yrs.

It's ok though.

The last one looks like a glass of Guiness

[color="Blue"] Today I decided we need to celebrate life. So in honor of my best friend.. We are going to party in here.[color="blue"]

Take a balloon & let it soar to the Heavens. Remember to share flowers with the living. They can be enjoyed that way. Life should always be celebrated. When you think, even in sad times when we think, we can find something to make us smile.

Have you noticed that even when people attend a wake.. they sometimes break out in a smile. It's true we can remember the good things, the funny stories, or even those stories that we didn't think were so funny at the time. When we look back there was something funny.

At my mom's wake Fran's mother was relating a story to a friend of mine about how her brother lost his wife. Then she went and introduced RoZanne to her son.. Rozanne said to Fran's brother.." I'm so sorry to hear about your wife".. John looked at her like she had 3 heads .. he was single never married. We all had a good laugh at the look on his face. Rozanne still talks about it. Embarrasing.

Fran's daughter wants to hear a lot of stories about her mom. Told her I"d share some. But some need to stay where they are.

Can't give all our stories and secrets away now. Can we !!!

Grieving is a necessary part of the process. So is the remembering of the laughter and fun.

Keep Fran's family in your prayers & thoughts. We had a wonderful life of friendship that lasted 4 generations. How many can say that?? Rest in Peace my lifetime friend, know that you will forever & ever be in our hearts.

Now party on...

May you each have a
