Cool

Tummy cries

My tummy roars
Dragons flamed, entwined
Maybe pickles, eh?

Cool Apologies to Blake

Fragment of a parody of "Songs of Innocence: tiger, tiger" based on an epsiode of Beavis and butthead (when they burn down burger world)

Fryer! Fryer! Burning bright!
In the burger world last night!

And what the hand,
And what the art?
Could twist the frozen fries apart?

With a syringe in your mouth, you speak only in vowels. My dentist hadn't seen Fight Club - too bad the irony was lost on him. I am now two teeth freer. The doc pulled the obviously broken tooth, and glory be, the other horrid front tooth was cracked, too, so adios to it, as well! I feel like I should be singing, "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth!" <p>
The lidocaine hasn't worn off yet, so it feels very strange doing the ice pack 15 minutes on, 15 off, but I'm doing it now that I'm finally home from both dentist and pharmacy. I am by doctors orders out of commission for 24 hours. The not smoking will be a pain, and I don't *have* any cold food. I'm not supposed to have any sodas, warm drinks, or warm food for 24 hours, either. So, I shall drink water and eat pudding or popsicles or something. Banana pudding sounds good. Tapioca sounds good, though I prefer it warm. So far I've managed to get water into my mouth, though it's also running down my face and onto my shirt. Brrr! <g> For now I'm vaguely elated - the two teeth that have been the very bane of my existence since they grew in about 30 some-odd years ago are GONE!!!! I'm due back in Thursday afternoon for some sort of partial to span the space left by those two teeth, plus the previous space. I can really forsee it feeling GOOD to have teeth I don't have to hide! I really hope they do a good job with the "flippers." They took impressions, and hopefully the shape and color will be good. *Anything* would have to be better than my old front teeth, but I'll be dazzled if the temps are actually *pretty.* Guess I'll see in a couple of days. This could be a life-changing experience, for real. I *really* hope it works out well. Wish me luck!!!<p>
Oh, well, back to part 2 of the Judy Garland special, and my ice packs. If anyone can think of cold, soft food that my wussy belly could handle, I'm all ears!<p>
{{{{{Friends}}}}} Thanks for all the moral (and immoral <g>) support!

Cool Gnu = Antelope

(((((Kathe)))))! Welcome to recess at the playground!

(((((Quietude))))) You lovely you.

(((((biker))))) When I was about 29, I found an orthodontist willing to close the diastema between my front teeth, which had reopened because I'd stopped wearing my retainer. And you are right--changed my whole outlook. I feel your joy!

(((((roo))))) Now, <u>this</u> is brilliant . . .

Fryer! Fryer! Burning bright!
In the burger world last night!

And what the hand,
And what the art?
Could twist the frozen fries apart?

(((((Moonpan))))) I need a box. Got any?

(((((Les))))) And tomorrow is hump day! And Thursday is March 1! And Sunday is my dad's birthday! And today, it is <u>still<u> raining!

awww ((((biker)))) I too had some work on a front tooth that I broke in the third grade when I left half my face on the sidewalk in front of my school. I had bonding done but the color was not good and I felt I couldn't smile in bright sunlight. A few years ago, I found a dentist who did a pretty good match with a crown and now I don't even think about not smiling when the sun shines! <g> Hope you get it all worked out and are happy!

(((Lou))) you asked if I had a box? To tell you the truth I have become box addicted. I look at an empty box, size it up for what it might carry, and use and reuse them, taping up the tears with great care! So...no....I can't give you a box. <g>

(((Scribe))) what's shakin' there? Get anything more from JT?? ;-) Did I guess right, btw?
