I don't think anything short of an Act of God could save Nothing But Trouble, lol. I am glad to know others saw it though, I was beginning to think I'd made it all up in my head, and THAT was a DISTURBING thought.
On another note, I was looking at websites reviewing Nothing But Trouble. Several of them said that Dan Akroyd wrote and directed it. They also said that he had never been allowed anywhere near a camera again. I think the reason that movie sticks in my mind is that it's the only movie I've ever walked out of a theatre in the middle of. I made it as far as the judge taking of his prosthetic nose, and I'd had it. I'll remember that about 2 Weeks Notice. I've looked at it, but it never made the final cut, so to speak.

Yes Ricki Lake was in CryBaby! LOL I thought she played her part very well. Besides for those who are still fighting the battle of the bulge aka losing weight that movie and her current show the change. I bet it wasn't all that easy though. I do hope all of you have a great day!

BTW, being bored with TV last night, we finally unwrapped a DVD we purchased from the $5.99 rack at Circuit City. Has anyone seen Suicide Kings with Christopher Walken (mob), Henry Thomas (ET), Denis Leary, and some other cute young thugs? It's kind of a comedy thriller. I thought it was kind of fun and gruesome at the same time. What more could anyone ask for in a $5.99 movie, right?

hey 5 buck movies are great. I get them from Walmart all the time. Mostly to complete my collection. So far i have gotten my whoopi collection there. Also i few good comedies and family ones.
I have my eyes on that 8.88 rack.Maybe they will fall to the 5 dollar bind. After all most of those 8 buck movies were 14 last year. The $20 ones are already on the $9 side! |

Just watched Gangs of New York. Very violent but great movie! I watched the Special Feature from The Discovery Channel giving the true historical facts. Unbelievable.
I've got Punch Drunk Love on board for tomorrow. Hi Addie!! |
