Yesterday a good friend/ sister in law passed away. Vivian was a soft spoken, fun loving, caring person. Her heart was always there for the taking. She understood life's ups & downs, she faced them with a smile & worked though them. Vivian will be greatly missed by her family & friends. RIP Vivian, Heaven has your space ready. Love you, miss you.

She absolutely was a wonderful woman. I'm not sure if I'll be in to say hi over the next week. I will send you all good wishes. Hope life is good to you.

Arrived home from Boston last night. Amid all the sadness associated with this year's Boston Marathon I'm so proud of people. Strangers who instead of running from the scene, ran to help those injured. People from all over the world were at the Marathon it's a hugh event every year.
Look how they pulled together. The perpetrators of this atrocity will knock us down for a minute or two. Let them watch out, we will be stronger, better & together in strength. We are survivors, we are fighters. You will be caught. God bless all the people of Boston. United we stand with you.

As an original Bostonian (suburbs), I really appreciate your post! I contacted my family still up there and all of them are OK.

I too am an Original Bostonian.. It doesn't matter what part of MA. Most people from there will say the Boston Area. Even though we moved to FL close to 7yrs ago.. we will always be Bostonians. It was a great area to grow up in. You could walk everywhere. Even over the Bridge to Boston / Cambridge. Where you couldn't walk there was the "T". YOu've heard of the "T" I'm sure. There was even a song about .. "Charlie on the "MBTA" ... they changed the fare and he couldn't pay so he never got off the train. ..

So cool, Irish! I was born in Quincy, lived in Randolph, and have cousins in Braintree. I've taken the T alot; a very old, yet efficient system. We have more in common than I thought!

I was born in Cambridge, moved to EVerett when I got married, moved to Melrose when I retired.. then 2 yrs later moved to Florida. Funny my son & his wife live in Braintree. She works in Quincy... See what a small world. Oh when they first got married they lived in Randolph. Smaller world yet.

Thank you, Boston. You took care of the bad guys. I just wish that we wouldn't have to deal with bad people. Unfortunately, that isn't possible.
