What do ya'll plan to do for Halloween this year? Go to a party?? Trick - or - Treat?? Play here??

I plan to carve up about a six small to medium pumpkins (without clogging up the disposal this year - never had one, don't know what to do with it - usually compost). I also am going to pick up some halloween luminaries that I will put my solar walk lights in and I'll sit outside and give away candy.

I will leave Greg inside with the dogs. Bomar is a typical coon hound that bays at everything.

This will be the second year that I will have had any trick or treaters. Cocoa Bch barely has enough kids to keep their schools going and our house was on the main high way. We live in a real neighborhood now and have about 35 kids. Not many, but better than before. The kids are all very polite and will actually talk to you, so it is grand fun. I may take pictures of them in costume, and tell them to stop by the next day for a print. Can you tell I like my digital camera?

What a great idea for the luminaries! I've looked at them and just passed 'em by because I didn't want any kids costumes catching fire if they got too close. We have solar lights on the drive way so I'll go buy some this week!

We're doing two sides of the house for halloween. One side is done with a ladder and 4 creatures climbing it up to the roof. There are 2 big pumpkins and 5 little ones around the straw bale. The other side will be a cemetary complete with tonbstones and a hugh spider web with spiders.

So we'll have decorations for the little and big kids.
