How about "East of Eden".....oh wait....we already blasted that one.

I think Robin Williams is brilliant...although he CAN wear one out! For me, he's one of those funny men that can suddenly break my heart with a look....like Red Skelton did when I was a kid. Something sad about them that I can't explain.

I never saw Exit to Eden. Something about Rosie O'Donnell dressed up like that just was too much. Did you like that one?

Actually with The Gods Must Be Crazy, I didn't laugh my way through the entire movie. The only scene I remember laughing at was when he was stuck on the hood of the jeep when it was moving.

What about Stripes?

OK, the film freak joins in....

I would add "The Ritz" to my favorites list...it was the first film I ever got on video. A bit dated, but I still love it. And I can't hear the song "Besame mucho" without cracking up.

I liked La Cage aux Folles better than the American remake, tho I enjoyed that too.

I was surprised "Parenthood" wasn't on the list. I thought it was very good.

And "Babette's Feast" is an absolute classic.

OMG Parenthood! That IS the one where the parents went out for a night on the town and were involved in an accident, right, and he made HER explain to the police just what had happened?? LOL

Stripes ranks up there too!

I've got Sister Act 2 on right now. It has it's moments but ......mostly I'm laughing at my son who is rolling his eyes at the likelihood that kids would shape up like that!

Sister Act was a good one. I liked both of them. The second one was a little overboard. But isn't that where Lauryn Hill got her big break? She really tore up His Eye is On the Sparrow.

Parenthood is a good one too.

I absolutely loved Shrek. I think that should be on there.

Yea! That's a fun movie! I love Jack Black!

Liam, isn't 28 Days Later really scary? Apparently I have trouble separating fantasy and reality. I'm such a wuss.<g>

Although it isn't in too many theaters, anyone who is able to see "The Station Agent," do it! It's a wonderful little movie. When you leave the theater you feel as though you've just read a great book. I adored it. I'm going back with Hayley this weekend to see it again. She's going to love it!

Also noteworthy.. "Pieces of April!" A great little movie, destined to become a dysfunctional family Thanksgiving classic. <g> The acting is fantastic! It's very funny and very sad. A great little story.

"Lost in Translation" LOVED IT! Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson are fantastic! The story is great and different! So enjoyable!

"Mystic River" Fantastic acting all the way around! If you read the book and are afraid of seeing the movie, don't be. It's a great adaptation! Very well done!

Just in case anyone was looking for any suggestions...<g>

Oh yeah, 28 Days Later is one of the scariest movies I've seen in a long time. I LOVED IT.
