A lot of women start out on the Honda Rebel 250. I've never ridden one so can't give you any advice from personal experience. My hubby wanted me to get another VTX1300, but I declined, thank you very much! LOL! I wanted a bike that was easier for me to manage. My Aero 750 weighs 200 lbs less and has a lower center of gravity so I am able to muscle it around if need be (like anytime I need to back up).
Good luck and keep me posted on how it goes for you. I know that it is a risky thing to do, but I really love riding.

After 6 months and over 10,000 miles on my Aero 750, I traded her in for a new VTX1300c. Yes, it is the same model of bike that I crashed on, but I am now more experienced. I love it. That's one of the reasons you don't see me online anymore. I'm always out riding.
I'm so far behind on messages, I don't think I'll ever catch up!
