{{{{{Lou}}}}} Clapton! One of my favorites!
I've been in an oldies mood lately. Although, how "my" music became "oldies," I'll never know. ;-) I dug out Cat Stevens and it was so wonderful!!! I find it fascinating that without a list, I can't remember what I'm doing at the grocery store, but I can remember every word to every song on Tea for the Tillerman. What's that about short term memory? ;-) |

Well, right now I am listening to Nelly Furtado. My bosses dog ate the CD cover all around the edges..thank gawd the CD survived..LOL
She's hard to define. French Canadian, isn't she? Definately her own distinct sound. I like her. She was just on Letterman the other night. Saw her on SNL, I liked her. Not what I normally listen to, if I have a normal. ;-) |

I've played the Sade twice so far, and am not massively taken with it. I think I prefer her old work.
Right now? I'm listening to Eric Clapton Slowhand |

I have to agree with you, Q-W. The Sade is not nearly as phenomenol as her previous. But there are at least 4 good songs on this one. And two others than are okay..and the others I was not thrilled with at all. I skip right over them. But you do have to listen to them to get them to grow on you.

I found the coolest thing on the web yesterday...
I used to be (and still am to some extent) a huge Lou Reed fan, and there was a little snippet of music on a website that was included only on the 8-track version of Berlin. It was downloadable as an .au file, and very neat to hear!
