I gained some weight while working with a former client who loved food more than I do! She's gone now and I am back on the wagon...got to have the old cholesterol checked next week and I am having to be a good girl...But I was stuck in a rut there for several months. It's not always easy, and it is mind over matter about how we go about losing the weight. I still have a ways to go and my goal is to get where I want to be before Thanksgiving!!

You can do it sistergirl! Yet being on the wagon means you are going to be more thought conscious over what you are putting in your mouth. I have found out I do more stress eating than anything else. So going to work on positive ways of handling the stress so I can stop stress eating. Good Luck! Hugs

Yes, absolutely Wolfie! You will do it too, and thanks so much for the encouragement. I am so much more aware now of what I am eating (back to my old routine). I have a tendency to eat out of boredom...but I can still eat, only now it is more sensible snacking.

Also I have started walking with a client two to three days a week at a local sports field. I am trying to find out how long around this place is...looks like the size of a football field! So it's a good walk and my client is feeling better afterwards too. It's a good thing!

Thank you sistergirl! Not dealing with stress isnt good but right now I know I have to find a way to do so where I am not stress eating! If you get a pedometer, I believe that 2000 steps is a mile. Hope that helps.

Thinking that would be a good idea but may hold off since when the freezing weather sets in I will not be out there! But I am going to google a football field and make an estimate. Can GG (Rebecca) help you with the stress thing?

I found out that a foorball field is 1/4 mile...but this field seems even larger than that! Pedometer it will have to be! Thanks.

I really liked to read the comments above, every one have their own perceptions.I know the plateau and I feel you pain. It seem unpassable, but that's the point where you have to be happy with yourself.

I have a freezing on top of the sinusitis! Ugh! But I am on medications and thus being cautious of what I eat. I know when the cold/sinusitis is going away cause I get my hunger returning.
