Prayer Requests - Page 2

Ya'll have kept me sane the past two weeks... thank YOU for being here for me.

I'm sure that I can speak for the rest of us and say that we will continue with our prayers.

Right now, I could use some prayer for two things. I have lost another 3 pounds and since my meds go from mouth to toilet completely unchanged, there is great concern that I may be developing a malabsorption illness. Which means, my digestive system from top down is a mess, from bottom up it is a real mess and now the area in between (which is difficult to visusally access), my small intestine may now be diseased as well.

Secondly, while I really don't want Ivan to hit anyone else in the US, we seem to be the direct hit target. So pray for Ivan to disintegrate or something. This is one bad storm. The projection models are all over the place, so we don't have a clue as to where to evacuate to.

Life: one darn thing after another.

I may not get it before we go. Everything is shutting down at 6pm tomorrow to begin the evacuation process. I am going to be really annoyed if this turns into something unnecessary. But that's life in the Sunshine State!

We are leaving Wed early morning so that we can avoid the old parking lot problem on evacuation routes.

Yeah and it just seems like I get one problem resolved and then there is a brand new one. We have everything set up now to move Greg's Dad down here to an independent living place. It is so nice that I would love to stay there! I have different doctors lined up and appointments made.

But, my Dad called yesterday afternoon. My mother is in the hospital again with atrial fibrillation again. I haven't heard from him today, so I don't know what's up.

If it ain't one darn thing, it's another!

(((((((( Brede and family )))))))))) prayers are going out to you and your family.. I know "Jeanne" is headed that way too.. so try and be safe. My daughter and family have company again with all lowlands, mobile homes being evacuated.

We are up in the northwest Panhandle of FL so it is not coming near us. My brother is in southeast FL, so he will get it and my old home town is about to get stomped again.

Mom is doing better and may actually come home today. But I haven't heard anything from them so I'm suspecting that she won't be getting out.

UGH!

Well my tests showed exactly what they did last time. My mother doesn't know about hers yet. I was home by 8:35, but have been sick ever since then. I would really like a nap, but the puppy duo is up to their little "see who can kill each other first game." Greg will be home in a few minutes and I am going back to bed.
