Course clams swim, but they don't bite. However, they can spit water at you. Very dangerous sea creatures (WEG)

You'd have to get that love of your's to make the clam chowder. I can't touch them. Highly allergic. One of my saddest times was when that allergy developed It broke my heart.
A little note of interest yes they swim, they spit, but you have to DIG <for>Them .. <weg> Used to go clam digging. It was fun. PBS ask him about Legal Sea Foods.. It started out as a small store front. They added the long tables & benches. Where always crowded. People would be in lines outside for two blocks. ( Yes they really have been that good for this long). They started out in Inman Square Cambridge. Now they have expanded all across MA and I believe parts of NH. Oh ask him about Kelly's Roast Beef .. and the sea wall at Revere Beach. Another wonderful little place that has also expanded thoughout MA. However the orginal in Revere is the Very Best!! OK enough chatter from me. (((((( Tammy, Melynn, & all ))))))))) Because it's till what I do best.

The first time I ever tried sushi it grew and grew and grew in my mouth. I finally had to go into the restroom and spit it out. I've never had the inclination to try it again. ew

I LOVE peanut butter and honey! But then, I love sushi too. But not sushi and peanut butter and honey at the same time.
Sushi is really just the rice with whatever. It doesn't have to be raw fish. It can be completely fishless, with cucumber or whatever. It's sashimi that's the raw fish and even I don't eat too much of that these days. It's not supposed to be very safe...although, what is? I once had some kangaroo jerky. It really wasn't very different from any other jerky, but it was hard for me because as cool as they are, kangaroos just look like really big freaking rats to me. <g> |

Living in Alaska lots of weird things have passed under my nose.
I love moose roasts! Was offered Fish Heads (an Native dish) but the smell alone told me to pass - Yes its heads of fish wrapped in grass and then put in hole in ground and aged. Just rotten heads of fish....but the Native girl I watched over looooooveeeed them! She was from very very small village. Tried Eskimo Icecream but made me gag. Its blueberrys mixed with cisco and sugar then all mix up Looks yummy but is a taste you gotta grow up with. And of course I have eaten Snails....with garlic and butter They really are very very yummy!

I love liver and onions! Here in Hawaii there are so many cultures you can find just about anything. The grocery routinely sells pigs feet, pig blood, all kinds of seafood. Calamari happens to be a favorite of mine. Actually the grocery here sells just about every animal part you can think of, brains, lungs(thats a gross out),tongues (I've had great tongue from the deli's in New York). Seems I only eat chicken and fish and pasta any more.

Peanut butter and honey isn't bad. I like to eat peanut butter and syrup sandwiches. I prefer to use king syrup because its very thick. I haven't had any since I was on the eastcoast. They don't have here in California.
Pooh, I should put some more nasty food pictures up just for you |
