Good one, Biker--makes me think of, "Who is John Galt?"
Tyler in Fight Club: "You just had a near-life experience."

from Diner...
Tim, who is played by Kevin Bacon, and one of the other diner guys are driving along a country road when they spot a pretty young woman wearing a riding habit loping on horseback in a fenced field. They stop, beckon to her, and try to flirt. She seems vaguely confused by their behavior, as if she thought they were asking directions. Clearly, they are not in the same social class as she. As she trots away, Tim says to his friend, "Do you ever get the feeling that there's something going on that we don't know about?"

"I'll never forget the way you looked going over the falls - head up, chin out, hair blowing in the wind - the living picture of a hero-eyne!"
Incurable romantic that I am...I loved Humphrey Bogart's declaration of admiration to Katherine Hepburn in The African Queen. I always wanted to be someone's heroine. |

Annie Hall. Sigh. In which Alvy says, "A relationship, I think, is like a shark. You know? It has to constantly move forward or it dies. And I think what we got on our hands is a dead shark."
That's my second favorite Woody Allen movie. The first is Manhattan, in which Isaac says, "I think people should mate for life, like pigeons or Catholics."

I'm not a fan of Woody Allen, never was. I'd like to read his movies though. His words get lost to me because I find him so totally repulsive that I miss part of the movie. He's an absolute genius with words though. So, I'd like to read his movies.

Ooh, yeah, jess. One of my favorites.
Another of my favorite DeNiro lines is in Deer Hunter, when he says, "This is this. This is not something else. This...is this." I bet that line was ad libbed...you can just see the looks on the other actors' faces as if to say, 'what in god's name are you talking about?' One of my favorite Woody Allen lines was in 'Annie Hall.' When the kids all stand up and say things about themselves and what happened to them after they grew up. One kid says "I used to be a heroin addict. Now I'm a methadone addict."

"Gabriel, can't you see we're menacing someone?"<p>
T.J., the leader of The Wizards, to dim-witted Gabriel, who continues playing pinball during a bar fight in a 1971 biker classic called "Chrome and Hot Leather."

The things you own end up owning you." <p>
Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt's character) in "Fight Club," to Ed Norton's character.

Memento
((((biker)))) Remember I told you that there's a place in this film where Leonard speaks about the rewriting of memory? I looked up the lines...
"Memory can change the shape of a room; it can change the color of a car. And memories can be distorted. They're just an interpretation, they're not a record, and they're irrelevant if you have the facts." Alas, Leonard thinks that in his notes, he has the facts.
