{{{{{Moon}}}}} You should hire yourself out as a remodeling consultant - heaven knows you've got the experience! Cabinets have toes which need plates? I am learning too much! <g>

(((biker))) you know actually I've about reached the end of my rope with all of this. Feeling a bit frustrated and overwhelmed with all this moving and remodeling going on at the same time. Oh well, it will end soon, RIGHT?

((((roo)))) well, I got up early so that I could pick Tom up from the car dealer, restain the front door of the condo so that a prospective buyer might have a good first impression, then try to get the furniture divets out of the carpet......do you want to hear more??
Now I'm back at the cabin and it DOES look like the carpenter is putting the finishing touches on the kitchen....I HOPE! Even *I* feel like cooking! |

{{{{{Moon}}}}} Looks like I've got the night watch on the boards again. Survivor was good tonight! I'm so glad Rodger's still there. Glad your kitchen is finally done. Better yet that Home Depot is making good. Don't let'em weasel out of it! (I know you won't. <g>)

{{{{{Moon}}}}} Refunds must be going around. First, I got a check from the state for $15 to rebate a portion of my DMV fees. (Wouldn't it have been cheaper for them to take it off my registration renewal a few weeks ago? Oh well, why look a gift horse in the mouth!) <p>Then, on my Homegrocer order this morning, I got free delivery (saving $10), another $15 off as a promotional thing because they're changing from Homegrocer to Webvan, *then* the guy got here with my order, and a Sprite was apparently leaking badly enough it soaked the bottoms of the 3 12-packs I'd bought, so the delivery driver said he would give me all three 12-packs for free, saving me another $10. Then, I said I was surprised to see two cartons of (lactose-removed) milk because I'd only ordered one. I looked on my confirmation online, and I'd ordered two by accident. I told the driver never mind, it was my own mistake, and he said he felt so bad about the sodas that he'd write off one of the milks, too (and let me keep them both). So, I saved a bunch! I did have to take all the sodas out of the 12-pack holders on the porch, spray them off top, bottom, and sides, dry them, and stick them in different 12-pack holders. Oh, and I found the leaky culprit, so I was short a Sprite. But for about $12, that was worth the trouble. So, at least I feel less broke!
