I was a big fan of Wonderfalls. I haven't watched Criminal Intent. It's a favorite as well. I'm glad to know I can pick up Wonderfalls on DVD. Criminal Intent will go to reruns, so I'll catch it later. There are so many good things in Desperate, I love the nosy neighbor. And I think they have done a super job in writing the lines for Joann's (?) teen daughter.
As for the boys on the sidewalk, who hasn't wanted to do that before!!! LOL! HBO just put Carnivale back on in reruns, so they must be getting ready to start the new season. I don't think I missed a single episode of the first season, but I'll probably watch the last 3 shows of the first season just to refresh my memory. Is anyone watching Nip/Tuck? It had a great season finale. Is it debate night tonight? Try watching part of it with the sound off. Or tape it so you can watch the whole thing with the sound off and then listen to it with the picture off. Trust me, you will come away with very different impressions if you do that.

Hmmm... Interesting proposition there, brede.
Someone described Bush's countenance during the last debate thus: <i>Bush's face is completely priceless right now. He was obviously coached this time not to smirk when Kerry was talking, but the new result is that he looks like a guy failing to hold in an enormous smirk. It's not unlike the way a person looks, well, after he's passed gas in a pool and doesn't want anyone to see the bubbles.</i>

Without sound it is very easy to see his childish, aggressive behavior. Kerry is a little harder to read. My single wish is that someone would comment on the fact that changing your mind after you learn new information is a mature thing to do! And admitting mistakes doesn't kill you.

Okay, is anyone else as disappointed in the elections as I am? The only (or main) good thing with the elections over is...(drum-roll, please)...NO MORE CAMPAIGN ADS!!!
That said, who's watching what now? |

And....
Arrested development!!! Best comedy! Love it! The second season started two weeks ago.The first season is out on DVD; if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Especially for those slightly warped and twisted minds out there.<g> Desperate Housewives, Jack & Bobby, Boston Legal... all so good! |

I tried to watch Lost one time... I was confused (probably cuz I wasn't exactly paying attention) and I gave up..I"ll have to try it again!
I am HOOKED on "Desperate Housewives" !!! LOL!! My daughter and I have also been faithfully watching "America's Top Model" on UPN and the Apprentice. I've always been a huge ER fan, so I watch that on Thursday nights when it's new. Now that I am jobless...I was thinking I'd catch up on some Daytime TV, but so far...just been too darn busy to do that!! LOL!

I hardly watch TV anymore. I just let Greg watch whatever he wants. But, I do insist on ER, Huff, and my guilty pleasures: Trading Spouses and the other one just like it. They are great comedies!
My concentration is shot.

I was really sad when Dr. Corday (don't know her real life name) left.... she was really the last link to Mark Green...ya know? And what's with the newbies?? jeez! I didn't like "darlene" on Rosanne...and I like her even less as an intern on ER!! sheez!!
Abby is my fav. she has been since she came on the show.....and I identify with Sam alot! sooo... anyone else watching the Apprentice this year?? Ohhh...hey Melynn...on Desperate Housewives ...did you think that Mary Alice's husband was gonna kill the nosey old woman?? and What did Mary Alice do to the baby??????????? And.. why exactly does the "plumber" have stacks of $100 bills in his kitchen cupboard???????? ohh..I missed the week before last...did anyone catch that??

I spent several days visiting my son and dil last month, and insisted that my husband and younger sons record that week's ER and THIRD WATCH so I could watch them when I got home. Those and CROSSING JORDAN are the only shows currently on that I insist on watching.

I missed everything this week. I swear that if my husband watches "Dances with Wolves" or any of the Matrix movies again, I am going to go outside and push his brand new motorcycle over!
