I'm speechless!

Sometimes when there aren't any words to say,
when the mind is shattered and the soul stricken
we find ourselves lost

Then somehow we find ourselves
reach into the inner layer we keep within
pick ourselves up and continue on

The road, never easy, never smooth
has many bumps on it, but we march on
We may cry, we may laugh, and we may feel numb
but still, we march on

The sky may turn cloudy
We may be in a fog, but we go on
The strength we find may lead to another road
A road which will remind us that we are loved

Today I marched, I picked myself up
and I followed the bumpy road
I took a silent path where the birds whistled and sang
and the clouds played tag

where the limbs of the trees waved to me
and the grass danced in silent harmony;
I saw a rainbow of people with arms wide open
and I came here...this is where the other road took me

Now refreshed, I go on
I march that road called life
but I know, I know that I can come back when I feel drained
for that I thank you. I extend my gratitude.

Hi All!

First, thanks to everyone who posted nice things about my baby's website :-) I'm very proud & doting. So there!

Les - Gwen is gettin' so "growed up" I can hardly stand it. She's TEN and I am torn between just horror that she's that big and pride over my kid. She is definitely going through an icky pre-teen stage though and I ain't lovin' that!
My dad does look young, even younger than he actually is. My parents were 20 & 21 when I was born. And yes, everyone always tells me my bro is a babe. I just see my bratty little brother when I look at him ;-)

Vickie - Congrats on the big ol' prominent spot on the Moviepie website! As always I love your writing. Most especially I loved your open letter to the carving out our life filmmakers! Too funny! And knowing you I am sure it was well-deserved...

Is that the actual ((((((((((((CAD))))))))))))) I saw?? OMG!

Sorry I haven't been around here much. Spent a couple of weeks with a very sick little boy, and realized how out of the loop I was when I noticed food in the fridge had gone bad really quickly. Well, it hadn't been that quick, really, but our time was pretty much consumed with doctors and trying to figure out what was up.

Anyway, here I am, hope you all are well, and that everyone around you is well, too. (Unless of course, you happen to be sharing a cave with a certain guy...)

I have a two-day work week...:-) Can't complain about that, eh?
