Thanks
((((Moonie))))
Thanks for the lovely note! I left work an hour & a half early Thursday night, and didn't come in at all yesterday. They kept calling me at home, like they can't manage for one day without me? Come on! I slept for 3 and a half hours, if it wasn't for Harley in his crate, I would have slept longer. Sorry about your rotten HD luck I wish I could report that I was feeling better...but I LOVE (((Lou's))) advice. Hope (((Everyone's)))) feeling better soon...at least you don't have to answer the help desk phone with a gravelly, harsh voice, LOL!

oooooh how loverly ((((Lou)))) Hope your day is going well.
(((myst))) was that YOU that answered on the help desk? I was thinking it was Barry White! Speaking of the crate, we have ONE and two dogs now. They take turns darting in there and curling up to sleep. One will lie next to it waiting for the other to vacate and then make a bee line. They love it! <g> Hope you both are feeling better soon. I just sat down with a glass of Country Passion Peach Iced Tea. I drug everything off the screen porch, wiped it all down, painted the wooden floor a lovely shade of gray and am now putting everything back. I am giving myself a much deserved break! It is 82 degrees but the wind is unbelievable. I've had to shut some windows. Anything not tied down is being hurled around the cabin. We are going to grill something tonight in celebration of spring FINALLY showing up, at least for this weekend. |

Not a fan
(((Moonie))))
Sadly, Harley's not really a fan of his crate, and he knows when he's going there, and tries to hide. On the nights he "stays up late," if you catch him drifting off, he promptly open s his eyes as if to say "I'm Awake!" LOL Didn't you know Barry and I were close? <g> Voice is a little better today, but I'm still feeling rough, and it's so slow at work. Sounds like you got lots done yesterday, what did you grill for dinner?

(((colorhappyroo)))
(((mysterre))) we'll it wasn't exotic....just cubed steaks that I smothered in sauteed mushrooms, and steamed broccoli, hawaiian dinner rolls and peachy iced tea! They would have eaten ANYTHING by 9pm after working hard all day though. <g> Here, all we have to say is "kennel up" and they fight to see who can get in there first." I have no idea why they like it so much. Actually Murph hides from Colt's playfulness in there and once, Colt got in with Murph. Murphy's eyes grew as big as saucers. I'm sure he felt TRAPPED! Poor old guy! <g> |

(((((Moon mysterre))))) Now when you say "crate," do you mean a doggie carrier? The enclosed kind with a latchable door and air holes? Tibet sleeps in one of those at night and always has. She is very happy in there and thinks of it as her private space where she can eliminate the barrage of stimulation that rises up before her all day long. She's never been banished to her carrier as punishment, and to her the carrier is "night-night." <g>

(((Lou))) at our house the crate is actually a large wire cage with a door (not enclosed). It's not the carrier kind, but since both of our dogs weigh about 90 pounds...well, there IS no carrying! <g>

....you know I'd sort of like to have a place like that to hide out in sometime, wouldn't you? I'd want the latch and lock to be on the INSIDE, though. <g>

(((((Moon))))) Yep, my very own crate. <g>
I had to laugh at your description of Murph's eyes when Colt moved into the crate, too. ROFL! If ANYTHING got into Tibet's carrier with her, I think she'd have a stroke. <g>
