I am unable to determine my own future. I just wish that love between men and women was not dead. I would like to know what it is like to be loved. thanks for the advice.

Hi unknown, there are many ways a person can feel loved and it doesn't necessarily have to involve a man if that is your choice. You can feel loved by a dog, a cat, children, family. Volunteering at a shelter or nursery would find you an abundance of love. There are so many out there that could use your love.... But you have to reach out sometimes to receive.

Love is there. Love is real. It doesn't need to be physical. When you miss that person to the point when nothing else around you means anything, then that is love. When he puts his arm around you, you are at peace. Lust is purely physical and most of the time has no meaning, unless it's with the person you love. Someone out there loves you. You will find him one day and it will be worth the wait.

i desire the love from a man, but that is never going to happen because men can not get past the way i look, they all want eye candy and i am not. my life is worthless.

Hello unknown, we are all trying our best to show you that there are other important things besides a person's looks. It seems you are stuck in a "I hate me" mode. Please continue counseling for your own peace of mind. I hope you will find an answer soon to make your life more enjoyable. We only have one life and you deserve happiness as much as the next person.

Unknown, there are so many people out there with limitations, whether it be without arms, or legs, or sight, or hearing, but somehow they manage. I hope that you can, too.

Hi unknown, it is amazing how easily it is to talk ourselves in and out of things. The mind is a very powerful tool and only we can control what and how we think. We all have had bad experiences and some more than others and so it is from those experiences that we learn that maybe, just maybe those negative forces in our lives didn't deserve to be there! Please don't allow another person's weaknesses decide who you are or what you deserve to have in life. Oprah says "when you wake up in the morning look in the mirror

and say good morning gorgeous!" Positive affirmations, put them all over your house...on the fridge, on the bathroom mirror,on the ceiling if you have to! lol There is something beautiful inside all of us...find what it is about you. Make some changes to enhance your qualities. We all need to do that for ourselves. I know when I buy a new lipstick, or a blouse, etc. It is lift to the spirit. Sorry, don't mean to lecture on and on, but it's not fair to yourself to not open up the possibilities and find your own personal strengths. How about it? Willing to give it a try? You are here and people are concerned for you who don't even know you. That in itself is telling you that you are worth something! have a wonderful day...that's an order!

Well first you must get rid of the word trying! Its like needing to tie your shoelaces while sitting on your hands! Just do it! For what you may be unaware someone somewhere is falling in love with you. Looks is the outside wrapper but what is inside is what they see as others. Hence what they fall in love with.
