Hi Nana, great advice on the going outside and vegitating thing, we have been going to a lookout close by us lately to watch the migrating whales and whether the whales are there or not it's just so relaxing sitting watching the ocean and the clouds.

You know, I really love it when a good storm brews. I can sit outside and watch it blow in. I love the show that nature puts on for us to see, even my blizzards, though I prefer to watch that one from indoors, lol.

I am so looking forward to seeing a volcano up close for the first time. Though I have to say, it if goes, I am not, I repeat, I am not responsible!

You know one time we stayed at my friends house.. The attic rooms were completly finished. In the room that I stayed in there was
a beautiful skylight, and over to the side they had a stained glass window. That night there was a lightning storm.. It was absolutely phenominal to say the least. The way the lighning streaked across the sky and past the stained glass. Have to tell you I was mesmerized by it. Instead of being frightened I was awe stuck by it's beauty. it was so close,yet so far away. Thought I would share that with you.

I absolutely agree with the 'get out in nature' idea Nana, only prob is I'm not online as much when I do.
I love a good storm too and I love the amazing colours nature offers. I used to think that some of the bright colours that we use today are manmade, but I see them in nature more and more, incredible.

May there be bright colors in your everyday life. If you look around you will see them. From the sunrise in the morning peeking over the green of the trees. To the bedding down of the sun as it sets in the evening. Then when the moon smiles her smile on us and puts a glow on all below. Seeing the sparkle of first star and making a wish. Wondering,"Will this one come true?" Imagine that you can see the planets and they are millions upon millions of miles away. Isn't that awesome.
Even more awesome you see nature at it's best a baby making sounds. Eyes opening wide and you wonder.. what are they seeing? Don't you wish sometimes you could read their young minds and smile and laugh at what they are laughing at. Baby's growing as the young flowers when it opens it's petals to the sky for all to enjoy. The flowers in their majestic colors and splender of their differences.

That my dear friends is color at it's incredible best. Enjoy it.

I'm taking my camera out this morning (if I feel better!) to take pictures of simple things like grass and what not. I'm so in love with photography! Also, I'm looking forward to seeing my first volcano. {{{Nana}}} how much film should I take?

Hun, you take as much film as you can. Get out there and take those pictures. Make sure you date them, possible put a caption on them.. That would be fun to look back at.
Find a place that does the developing at a deal. The most important think is to have fun while doing this.
You go girl and have fun while taking the pictures..

{{{Nana}}} I went out and purchased yet another battery and another memory card. In addition to that, I purchased "regular" film for my 35mm. I should have around 12 rolls at this point. The sad part is, I now have to repack. (again!)

Oh, I am really looking forward to this trip! I want to know so much...learn even more...and rejoice in the beauty that I will be surrounded by. In addition to that, I will be taking some photographs of the ocean. *smile*

12 rolls is good. Repacking how many times is this Ok I have to find where I put your # and give you a call.. We did talk a w while ago. Have a great trip . How awesome for you to have a chance of a lifetime trip. I'm so glad you have this oportunity to expand your vision of the world.
