a weekend weather activity away from home??? Camping you mean? <g> Have a wonderful weekend too ((((Liam))))
(((roo))) patrick put a message on his machine at UK when he was living with my friend Marianne's son Chad. Mar called to talk to Chad and heard Pat's voice say..."Hello" and then she went on to say "Oh hi Patrick, how are you? I was wondering if Chad was" and then she heard once again "Hello..." She spoke up..."Patrick, it's Marianne, I was" and again "Hello.... sorry we aren't home right now but if.." Then she finally realized it was his machine and she left him a message alright!! It was non-g-rated! <g> |

He He. I like this train of thought! I used to have an answer machine message, before my telecommuting days, that went something like this: the Metallica song "Master of Puppets" was playing in the background, and I'd strategically turn it up or down as it applied to my message. The song in the background's words, very strident heavy metal, were, "Master of puppets is pulling your strings/twisting your mind and smashing your dreams./Blinded by me you can't see a thing/Just call my name and I'll hear you scream...Master!" Meanwhile, my narrative (we'll substitute the word "brick" for another b-word to keep it G-rated <g>) was roughly as follows: "Hello! You have reached rent-a-brick, the renowned heavy metal dating service. Our women show up in full dress leathers on Harley-Davidson motorcycles, ready for mosh pits, barroom brawls, or wild rides through the night. Leave a message and the head brick will call you back <i>when she feels like it!</i>" I *loved* that message, and was always working to perfect the narrative as well as the timing with the music - I liked for the narrative to end, with just enough time that "I'll hear you scream...Master!" was the last thing people heard. Everyone seemed to love it...except for my dad! <g>

Here I am!
<g> I've been in SD without the Blueberry. Here is one of the highlights of my visit: sat on the seawall with French fries and said, "Thomas? Want a fry?" Thomas said, "S?." So I gave him one. This went on for a while. (((((roo))))) (((((biker))))) (((((Moonfry)))))
