Sunday we went to see my best friend's husband. He asked me to go though some of her clothes with him. Lordy!!! That was hard. Went though her costume jewelry too, Came across a few pieces I had given here eons ago.**
After that we went out to lunch. He picked the last restaurant we were all together at. Promised that we would stay in touch. Told him we best, or Fran would be booting our butts from Heaven .. "OUCH"! **The necklace was a gift for St Patrick's Day.. It's a silver circle with a shamrock on it.. placed on a silver chain.. the saying one the outside " An Angel Watches Over You" & it has a Green shamrock in the middle. The inside has an Irish Blessing.. May you Always walk in Sunshine. May you never want for more. May Irish Angels Rest Their Wings Right Beside Your Door. ********************** My best friend forever is now an angel watching over us. May your angels keep a close eye on you. May you always feel them in your heart. ((((((((((( All ))))))))))))))

(((Irish))) It's always rough losing a loved one.
Stacy, if someone's name has the word "banned" under their name, it means that they've been kicked off whatever bb they've been banned from (in this case, wowwomen). Usually it's because of really rude, abusive posts, etc. |

(((((Irish))))) (((rj))) Thank you for asking. It's getting a little easier. Yesterday, I tried to call my brother and only got his voice mail. For some reason I became overcome with sadness of missing her and missing my grandkids. Right now I have 2 beautiful grandbabies in PA and seeing their mom and dad have gone their spared ways I may never see them again. (dad is my son, kids with mom) The 2 that live a 1/2 hour away I never hear from. So, I am really feeling down and missing the ones I love.

Oh (((((((((( crazymomma)))))))), What a rough situation to be in. Grandparents need rights. Just because the parents are not getting along doesn't mean the grandparents should be shut out of their lives too. That really sucks lemons.
When my oldest daughter lived out of state, out of country it was rough. Only got to see them a couple of times a yr. Took a trip to Okinawa at one point. Once they settled here in FL, we up & moved here. That way we get to see them a lot more often. So my heart does go out to you. If the dil stays in touch at all.. ask if you can work out something that you can get to see them once in awhile. How old are they? are they old enough to send emails, pictures, anything that would help ease the sense of loss. Take care.

(((((IRISH))))))) you never let me down. NO, they are 3 and 1. I'll bring that idea up with my son and see if next time he talks to his ex if we can work something out.
As for the other 2 shimmering unicorns 2 which are 10 and almost 8 , if I don't call them or go over there I never see or hear from them. She's just so wrapped up in her job and his family... Let's just say I'm tried of going to them or calling them all the time. When I ask if I can take them I get a we'll see and then nothing. I can't believe how far apart my daughter and I have become in the last 4years and I just don't know how to tell her how much she and Chris(her hubby) have hurt me. In Dec. they had a party for their 10th wedding anniverary and didn't even invite me and Savannah to come. As I said it has made it so hard.

(((((((((( crazymomma )))))))))), Was it a surprise party. Maybe the person thowing it didn't have your addy. It really does suck lemons when you feel left out of important moments in their lives.
As far as the 10 & 8 yr old go. They really are at that into myself/friends stage & just don't think to call or text unless it's absolutely imperative that they do. It's the age thing. My son being in another state, find myself texting. Just saying, "hi,thinking of you, love you son." Then I hear from him

NO, it wasn't a surprise party. They are the ones who through the party. I stay in touch with my son through My Space. Even if it's to say about the same thing. I really miss my family. I just feel as if they have grown so far apart from me. Seeing my older daughter was with me even after she got married and My son lived at home til he was almost 30. I just miss them both so much.

can I come in and weep a bit. The one year mark of my Mom's death was Sun. I tryed not to let it show but I think I spent the past few days crying. It doesn't feel that long and I miss her so very much. I have wanted to pick up the phone so many times and call her. On my speed dial her number is still there and I don't have the heart to remove it.
Is it normal to feel like this? I have been going through so many mood changes over this in the past few months. I feel so alone. So lost. Like my center is missing. How do I get through this?
