No words could bring the comfort we wish you....
I do also wish for you a place, a space, to go, such as the WomensSpace of yesteryear. You may only get as close as this message board but know the people in here will read and hear the words, the same that may freeze in your throat, unable to escape. I remember the stories of my love and loss, flowing from my fingers and my WS family listened with their eyes. I will never forget the support I had in that little room over 8 yrs ago.
There are still a lot of us around, maybe not as often as we'd like to be but we are still here to listen, love and pray.
May God Bless you and your family.

Thanks, everyone, for your love, hugs and support. It's been a long week. The viewing and service were yesterday.

My SIL and her SO had to leave last night. They'd been here last week when hubby went into the hospital. He'd been sedated at the time, but when it looked like he was getting better, they took him off sedation. By that time, SIL had gone home, since we thought he was getting better and she had to get back to work. Point is, he remembered her being there, squeezing his hand and talking to him, so that was a blessing. We (SIL & I) were shocked when he took the turn for the worse. She made it back for the viewing etc. Other family was in town, too.

Anyway, thanks, everyone...

Thanks for the hugs and prayers, everyone. They're greatly appreciated.

I'm finally starting to get to the point where I can think about my husband without crying (at least half the time). I know it's going to take a while.

I'm slowly starting to do more. Some of it is because I absolutely have to. But the punchline is that it does help some.

Omgosh...sorry to hear of your loss. Just know anytime you can come in here and do what you feel to do. This is such a hard thing to go thru. Yet I have a friend who I am doing my best to be there for since she lost her husband in July. I told her that cry when you want, get angry whatever way you feel or wish to express yourself. It all does help. Just be careful not to hurt yourself or anyone else. Yet there are shoulders here to lay your head on, arms to hold you while you cry, hands to soothe you and hearts that hurt when you do. Just know we are here if you need us. I hope that with prayers, the grace of Creator, and love surrounding you that you will do better. No one understands bless them and keep your head up and keep on going doing what you must. Much love prayers heartfelt hugs are sent your way to your family and yourself. Keep in touch.

ok..I officially am tired. RJ we love you!!

Could you all include us once again in your prayers. Lance (my significant other) was diagnosed yesterday with congestive heart failure. It took me three days to get him to go in, so he's not an easy patient.

He's on medication now that should make his quality of life better until such a time as his heart gives out...which hopefully will be a VERY LONG TIME!!

Heart specialist have made so much progress in this field,as long as Lance takes his meds, follows directions he should live a long life.

I know that this can be very unnerving and maybe just a little scary (especially the first few days/weeks after such a diagnosis). You're in our prayers...And, yes, hopefully (prayfully) his heart'll hang on for a very long time.

Hi all. I just wanted come and ask that we get a prayer for my family. On Friday June5,2009 we will be holding my Mom's funeral.She was the last to pass of her brothers and sisters. I feel so out of place alone and disconnected. I have been going to a berievement group and the next meeting is the day before. I'm not sure what to do. I think I'll be pretty quiet and cry a lot.
I have always been able to come here in times of sorrow and times of joy. So, please keep me and my family in your prayers as we go through this week. Thanks Hugs to all who do.
