If you go to amazon.com and do a search for the DVD of Angels in America, you can be put on notification as to when the DVD is released....and your email address also gets counted as a vote for the studio to release the movie on DVD, so you may want to do that!

I think I'll take my son to see that one...he needs a laugh.

When he saw the commercial, he said, "don't you think they would have stopped at 5 or 6? Or are we supposed to suspend disbelief."

We just watched "Mystic River" (came out on video on tuesday) last night. What a movie!! Wow! I was a tiny bit confused at the very beginning as I had watched the previews some time ago, and didn't remember seeing anything about little boys at play. Anyone else see it?

-------------------
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban -- Ok the kids and I left at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning to drive 30 minutes to the movie theatre and stand in line for the 9:45 show!! UGH!!! But since my kids are HUGE Harry Potter fans, I do induldge them once a year.. I loved this movie as much as they did! Buckbeak was a loveable creature, and the twists and turns of this movie kept me interested even though the only Harry Potter I get is once a year when I take the kids to see it. We give it a THUMBS UP!
-----------------------------------
The Day after Tomorrow - Ok so the graphics were "unrealistic" sometimes and the idea that the entire northern part of the world could freeze in an instant are a very scary thought, this movie was intense!! The ship floating down a main through fair in NYC was a favorite in my clan as well as the tornados in LA. The wolves were kinda FREAKY! My daughter said she could hear me "OH MY GOSH!" "RUN!!!" "GOOD LORD!" "DON'T DO THAT!!!" I thought it was an awesome movie...did anyone else see it?

My all time favourite is a concert DVD.... Talking Heads "Stop Making Sense"
this one had an entire cinema dedicated to it in Berlin for over a year, i watched it 7 times and recently bought it through amazon.com and watched it many more times since.

Any film with Johnny Depp!!! And I would be hard pressed to name a favorite.

Another that is hard to find, but you can get it on video at Amazon, is "Mindwalk." It is simply a conversation at Mt Ste Michelle between a physicist, a poet and a politician about the ecology of the universe and how things work. Best Physics lesson I've ever had! Yes, it is different, but excellent.

Just got back from visiting my son and daughter-in-law...and the most wonderful grandson in the world! (7 months old)

While I was there, my daughter-in-law and I watched most of Chocolat (Johnny Depp was great in it)...I think we missed the last 15 minutes or so...but I loved what I saw...
