A toast to you, a toast to me. WOW is absolutely WOW!!! WOWwonderful. with all of the outlets that you can go to for help, fun, information . It covers a gamet of topics, issues. There must be a gazillion folders to travel though. Do you have a question you'd like answered? Check out the folders.. Recipes ooh la la! Womens issues are there to be checked out. Perhaps a story that will help you to see that we are together. You are not alone.
A Question on sexuality or abuse the stories there will help.. Would you like to share yours. Parenting yes that is there too! Teens, preteens, even older children too. Are you a single parent check it out stories are good to share for making you feel better. If you don't want to share, but just to read and that helps. Then perhaps you will gain more courage in what lies ahead for you. Have you gone to Meet the WOW's folders? Drop in say hello. They love company be sure and bring chocolates

That is always a plus. Check out the chat rooms,Meet new friends or reaquaint with old ones that is so much fun. Something I discovered should have known, on the Creativity folders try and follow the songs titles it is fun. hmmmmm sometimes I have to cheat and check out the search engine for I don't recall who the artist was/is rofl. shhhhhh now don't tell on me.
Go on check out the folders. STOP do your writing for 10min first

<b>Borrow a Beginning</b>

Sometimes a writer needs a jump start. Borrowing a beginning from another writer, a poem, an overheard phrase, can be just the inspiration to take us past our reluctance and onto the page. Another nice aspect about borrowing from another writer is that it forces you to begin in the middle of a story. Here are a few beginnings to get you started:

* As I walked into the darkened room, I sensed that something was different.
* When the phone rang at two in the morning, I knew ____________
* Ever since ______ died, I've gotten into the strangest habits.
* Last night I had that dream again, the one I told you about last time.

When the phone rang at two in the morning, I knew, just knew in the way I know my name or my address that it was my son calling. But at six when I awoke with a start, a start as if someone had hurled a glass of ice water into my face, I knew that the phone had not rung at all, that I have no son named Jake, that I'd been dreaming. I threw back the covers and sat up, feeling with my toes for the slippers I leave beside my bed, but they were not there. My slippers, the red felt ones that always, always stay beside my bed where I leave them at night and slip back into them in the morning. Not there. I looked across the room to where the TV sat on my dresser, and on the screen were the KNBC morning anchors--Ken and whatshername. Muted. My heart froze in my chest, and I smelled the odors of breakfast. Bacon, maybe, or ham frying. From somewhere deep in the house, a male voice called, "Mom?"

"Remember how jealous we all were? Homecoming queen, cheer leader, honor student. Man...what HAPPENED?"

"That big hair look is out, Ms.Jolene" said Judy with a snicker.

"She needs to be introduced to Lady Clairol for sure!"

"I wonder if that's a maternity top?"

"Judy we are all FIFTY now, so DON'T think SO!"

We laughed and as we turned, she stolled over.

"Hi Judy and Kathy. Remember me?"

Almost in unison, we smiled broadly and said "Jolene! How wonderful to see you again! YOU LOOK GREAT!"

"Oh thanks, this is fun, huh?" said Jolene with a wide grin.
