It's that time of year again. Many of you with youngsters will likely be helping them with their letters to Santa. If you would like to mail your letters to Santa and ensure a reply, I have some information to pass along.

You can address your letter to:
Letters to Santa Claus
North Pole
Canada
H0H 0H0 (those are zero's and not "oh's" by the way)

For anyone interested in stopping pop-ups, there are several programs available for download that can help you squash web bugs, disable scripts, stop pop-ups and minimize other annoyances. You can find several at tucows.com

I'm not sure how these work on Macintosh, but there are several for PC. Just be sure you read the documentation carefully, as some work only with Internet Explorer (and I sometimes use Mozilla or Netscrap instead).

I hope those of you who are interested in Native American culture got the chance to watch Mystery last night. PBS did an adaptation of Tony Hillerman's novel Skinwalkers. He writes about the Navajo people, their beliefs, and their mystics. His main characters are Leaphorn and Chee and they cast the right actors to play them.

The following is part of the Irish Blessing said in honor of my mom at my nephews wedding.

An Irish Blessing
May the light of friendship huide your paths together,
May the laughter of children grace the halls of your home.
May the joy of living for one another trip a smile from your lips.
a twinkle from your eye.
And when eternity beckons,
at the end of a life heaped high with love,
May the Lord embrace you
with arms that have nurtured you
the whole length of your joy-filled days.
