Ya see...
I can do a subject, or I can do a smilie, and just *once* I managed to do both together, but you'd be surprised how many posts I've deleted in this little test because I can't do both again.<p>

Ok, that's twice in about 10 tries. I'm stumped. Truly.

Spelunk.
(((((Les))))) I'll take an M&M cookie. Just flick it over frisbee-style.
(((((biker))))) "Trailing edge" was an apt description. Yesiree. One of my students is Minnie Mouse, and I asked her today about the lack of people at CA Adventure. She said that no one likes it, that it's not for kids "really," and that she herself thinks it's "not that good." LOL I now have a creepy headache that floats around the top of my head, then makes nose dives down my forehead and into my sinuses. This is not good, is it?

<b>MINNIE MOUSE said that??? OMG!</b><p>
And I've *never* met a headache I liked! Sounds like sinus problems from your description. But, "Jim, I'm a Writer, not a Doctor!" <p> My favorite Star Trek bumpersticker: "He's dead, Jim...you get his wallet, I'll get his tricorder!" |

"It's Chinatown, Jake."
You are <u>right</u> (((((biker))))) Sometimes, it works; sometimes, it does not work. I have to be careful here. I'll start taking smilies in the subject lines as OMENS.

The text just improved!
Notice that Les is a "Socialist," but she was always a Socialist. I figure this is ironic, since "Socialist" might mean that you've hit 100 posts and are socialsocialsocial. But with that word, the meaning <b>deepens.</b>

{{{{{Lou}}}}} You're right, the text <b>did</b> improve! What a relief - Scribe was changing things - when I got "Connection Refused," I thought I'd been denied for being too verbose! (Fancy THAT!) But I bet I was trying to get in whilst Scribey was making improvements! {{{{{Scribe}}}}}

Scribe would never refuse your connection! <g>
I call that subject/icon dysfunction "flippant icon syndrome." There doesn't seem to be a cure for it yet, but we're working on funding for research. |
