I wanted to join your Women Online to learn about and communicate with other women about different issues concerning all of our lives.Also I love learning about the different cultures of the world. I love cooking and oil painting. Also, I am always interested in the changes in the world. Given the opportunity to talk and communicate with people from around the world would be nothing more than a learning experience to appreciate.

I have been married for 25 years to the same guy. I have liked women since the age of 9. I come from a Mexican heritage and was not allow to show my feelings. Recently I met the most wonderful women ever. I am in Love with her. Still married and seeking advice, lots of it.

Hi, my name is Jennifer. I am married and have a 6 year old son. I searched online to find a site that I could talk to other women and maybe gain some friends.
My husband has this online clan that he talks to everyday and I thoguht that if I could find a "home" of my own I could talk to people, get advice on different topics or give advice where needed.
I don't really know what else to write...

I'm interested in making contact with women of different backgrounds and cultures. I see that Women Online offers the opportunity to chat about a wide variety of topics. I look forward to sharing viewpoints with other members.

We can always broaden our horizons and outlook at whatever age.

Hello -
I'm a 26 yr old female from the Chicago area, just looking to connect with some other women. I've found that forums help me to realize that I'm not the only one experiencing the things I struggle with, but that there are lots of people learning and growing in the same manner as I am. I love to hear other women's perspectives regardless of my personal standpoint. I am in a stable but not perfect serious relationship with a man I love very much, but we've been through a lot and have had our rough spots. We are currently rebuilding our lives together and putting to rest some old demons before we can really start our future. I haven't got any close girlfriends, I don't 'meet people' well and typically get along better with men - but sometimes I just can't deny the inherent differences between the genders and need some feminine influence and perspective to keep me grounded. Hopefully I can make a few acquaintances here to share my trials and tribulations with, as well as to listen and commiserate when others are going through experiences I have insight about. Looking forward to meeting some new people!!

hi, the reasons 4 me joining WOW is bc my father is verbally abusive 2 my mom. i cant handle it any more, im the youngest therefore im the only 1 left in my family, since ever1 else has gotten married.

My reasons for coming to this forum include: 1. i was looking for information in Google about women's contribution to the world recognized on May 1, 2009; 2. I am a woman; and 3. I hope to communicate with other women to help me grow as a woman.
