It's so fabulous to see so many women working together and participating in the M.O.M. Team. It just proves that we don't need Corporate America to take care of our families. We can do it ourselves and spend time with our family while doing the things we love to do. My life is filled with complete happiness and God has truly blessed me.

I wonder if you could give us a little more info on what you are promoting here. I did visit the website, and it is a little vague....

It does say there are no sales involved, but then says.. "Rewards for working with the MomsWIN team are personal, unlimited and directly related to the level we pursue. There are no quotas, no predetermined requirements, no constraints and no income caps."

I am just curious, in hopes that the women in this forum, are well informed before they pursue something of this nature.

I know nothing of your particular company, but my intuition tells me to be wary of "work at home" schemes. So, as I said, if you could provide some more details, I am sure they would be greatly appreciated by all.

I have to admit, I'm a little scared to post just because I don't want you to think I'm posting an ad!!! LOL

I work with The MOM Team and I also teach preschool swimming classes at the YMCA twice a week. I love both jobs! Either way I get to spend time with kids, mine or someone elses!

With The MOM Team I can play with my kids whenever I want and that is very important to me. I help others change their lifestyle to accomplish their dreams.

With swimming I help KIDS reach their goals of blowing bubbles in the water and having the courage to jump into the deep end!

Either way, I'm helping people, kids and adults, feel better about themselves and what they can do!

Who could ask for something better than that?

We are taking the plunge! Some of you might know that Dennis started a new job. It was very nice at first...ten hours a night, four nights a week. By the second week they had added a day. Last week they pushed everyone up to twelve hour shifts, with extra hours on Sunday. They announced Friday that beginning in November they'll be on 7 days a week for a few MONTHS.

This is not what he signed up for. We have three children who miss seeing their daddy. He works all night, and sleeps all day, all week long. His band is supposed to start touring on the weekends in November. Soooo, we talked and he's going to start a website designing business and try to work from home.

Anyone else do this? We already know several people who are interested in him setting up websites. He just doesn't want to charge too much (or too little). Thanks,

Jobs working at home, here in Ireland, are also very hard to find, Princess. Certainly, any that can give you an income! I think the publicity is way ahead of the jobs?!! Best of luck, and please let us know when you find one! But, hang out here too, okay?

To find a "legit" work at home job is next to impossible. I was lucky, I did find one, and it was the old fashioned way-through an ad in the newspaper. That job was working for a publishing company. My job was to contact other businesses and offer them a trial of our training-human resource materials. I worked with that company for 2 yrs, then decided to move on.

The nice thing is, that since I had already worked 2 yrs from home, and had a solid recommendation that proved I was self-motivated and dependable, getting the second work at home job was easier. This new job I found through an internet job site. The thing is though, it was not posted as a work at home position. But, since that is what I was looking for, I applied for the job, and explained to them that I had my own working "home office" (which actually doubles as a play room for my kids), and why it was in there best interest to hire me over someone else. And I got it!

So, I am now working for a different publishing company, my job is very simple - I book appointments for the Sales Reps to go out and sell the advertising. I work on salary, and I also get a small commission if one of my appointments becomes a sale.

See, the thing I want to tell you all, is that the right "work at home" job for you, might not be posted as a "work at home" job. You may need to contact that employer and explain to them why they should hire you, and how you can do this job from home. Expect to invest in a fax machine, internet access, and a good long distance plan, but don't forget they are great "right-offs" at the end of the year too!

Another poster was correct in that it can be harder to work at home with a child or several of them! But it is so worth it to me!

I have to work, but I want to be able to raise my child, so I choose to have my own home based business so that I can do both.

I had tried a bunch of things in the past and had been really frustrated and discusted with the whole process. I just kept on looking til I found something that was legit and risk free.

Now I can work an hour in the morning, a couple hours in the afternoon (son still naps!) and then after he goes to bed. It's awesome!

I really researched this company and they have an outstanding reputation and are members of the Better Business Bureau. Be sure you always check out a company with the BBB! Very important, I learned that the hard way!

That's my two cents worth. I love working from home, and am more then willing work harder in order to have the best of both world, a full time parent and a part time worker able to make a full time income! WooHoo!

I don't think I had a link to a jobsite on my last posting, we are a small local company, we don't have a website, and we are not hiring anyone else.....must have been a mix up of some sort.

Oh...maybe it was the addy for the job-search website I used when I was looking for a job......hmmmm......not sure.......

Im new here and I work from home and I love it. I actually make money and I was so skeptikal to start with. I think that everyone with kiddos should consider it, it makes life for your kids so much easier, and they are not in the hands of strangers. Anyway good luck to everybody.
