((((((( Crazymomma )))))))), Believe me I understand. My son will be married 3 yrs on the 17 of March this is wonderful. They are good for each other.

However it will also be 3 yrs on the 11 that I lost my oldest sister. It will be a yr on the 22 that my best friend passed away. ((((((((((((( crazymomma )))))))))))), You never ever forget, time does make the pain a little less. Keep your memories of all the good times. Put any bad times or hard times to the side. That will help you too. Hope this helps you.

((((((Irish)))))) I already have. But some days it's just so hard. My dad will be gone 17 years in May and I still have good days and bad. It's hard when both your folks are gone.Even at my age it's hard. I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose a parent at an even younger age.

Today would have been my Mom's 84th Birthday. She passed away over 22 years ago, when I was 22. So she has been gone for half my life, although I know she has watched over me. I am grateful that I had 22 amazing years with her. She taught me the true meaning of Love. It has been healing to have my own daughter, who is now 12 years old. I wish I had been better prepared, but I guess that is how life works. As I grow older, I have learned to have more compassion for myself and my family. Today, like each year that passes, I will celebrate my Mother and the amazing Heroine that she was to me.
