I spent the day shopping and then being reduced to tears by a beautiful movie "A thousand men and a baby." I made everybody leave so they wouldn't see me cry. Whoever thought I'd be such a sap?
I was too lazy to bake cookies, but I bought some! Now I'm gonna watch yours, mine, and ours. Scribble snatches a few goodies for the show. C'mon down and join me if you'd like. I don't cry during this one. (much)

Yours, Mine and Ours is one of my favorite movies....maybe I'll watch that one tonight. (Or Mrs. Doubtfire)
Nana, you can put that turkey in a sinkful of cool water and it'll defrost more quickly. Can't you? I've done it and not killed anyone yet <G>. ('Yet' being the operative word...)

((((((( LiamFan, Scribblewithasoftheartofgold )))))))))
Thanks Liam I did that when I got home from yet more shopping. ROFL.Is it ever going to end? The turkey has started to defrost in the sink of cold water. My mom always did that we never got sick. How in the dickens did we ever survive??_ /me thinks I need a spot of tea here. Isn't this the most wonderful season of all? The hustle & bustle. Have to tell you what i did today. rofl It's pouring out. Puddles galore I jumped into one and splashed Ron. He said, "What are you doing?" I said, "being a kid. Who wants to grow up?"

{{{{{Nana}}}}} Sounds like fun!
I like the crowds and the hustle and bustle, too. I used to save all my shopping for Christmas Eve, just because I enjoyed the chaos. Not so much anymore...but this year it's looking more and more like I'll be out on Christmas Eve again... Good luck with the turkey!

Yours, Mine, and Ours is one of my favorite movies too. Did you know that Ball not only acted in that movie, but she directed it too? She also had shares in the movie; she was the first woman to ever do that. I wrote a report on it once --the women's studies professor I had wasn't aware of the contribution Ball made to the industry. She was one great person; I miss her a lot since she passed away.
A thousand men and a baby was great too, though. I was in tears at the end, lol. I think that should go down as a classic --I might try to find that one! Nana! Thanks for bailing me, Focus, and Challenge outta jail this morning
