I am only going to say this......I am sad to think that the folder was closed. I am sad to hear about hurt feelings and misunderstandings. There is enough anger, violence and cruelty out in the real world, that is why we come here. To talk, learn and grow. Sometimes we get advice about how to deal with the realities of Life that seems just to hard to deal with. But Laughter is the music of the soul. Plus having others giving their opinions or ideas is a wonderous thing. It helps, motivates, and encourages us all to think from a different prospective. If we dont like what is said, we dont have to do it. That is Freedom. Some of us need others to help us when we dont have anyone to prod, push and lift us up out of our ruts, problems and dooldrums. Sometimes we don't have the ones we thought we did to support us in our endeavors.....like losing weight. Then we feel lost and forlorn......As women, we usually understand each other and how we would feel given the situations.....thus this is what I know that WOW was established for......Women's Issues and etc. There is enough nonsense outside our doors that we dont need that in here......So remember to relax and dont take everything so seriously....Have a great day!

Melynn did the right thing. In theory, the folder was a good idea. But it violated a few principles I'd forgotten about... one, the freedom to say what you want in the chat room without repercussions--of any kind.
I'm glad it's gone. It was getting damn hard doing all that cutting and pasting! ROFL Anyway, I'm sorry a lot of people got hurt. Let's remember that and go forward better people with a better understanding of each other. /me breaks open a case of Dom Perignon for all |

So sorry that I never got the chance to be entered into the overheard folder! It gave me great confidence to just talk in the chatrooms, knowing that if I made a blunder, it could be defused on the messageboard. And, hey, it was wonderful to read!
Those that were unhappy with it have lost a friend they, sadly, never knew they had. I don't understand the gain!

banging one's head against the wall and flogging the dead horse... all part of the pessimistic socialist's daily exercise regimen, huh?
But why is this not an effective weightloss program? Huh? Huh?? Tell me that much...

Unless it's changed, I think you have to have 200 posts before you can customize your avatar.
