I agree Islander.....the only thing I know is that everytime I post that I make a stand to be neutral, that I welcome another's viewpoint.....I am not afraid to say "Yes I may have been wrong, but now I am more aware and knowledgeable Thanks!" I do hope everyone enjoys the time I get to spend with them in the chat rooms....for I know I do
Have a great day!

I think I am nuts LOL. I lost the post I was working on! I don't feel bad about not voting this year. There was to much mud-slinging going on and I couldn't figure out if the Demorcrat or Replubican governor canditates really cared about what was good for the state. PumpkinPatch I don't know if polls are rigged for sure or not. They might be , they might not be.
Islander, I hate re -hashing over old stuff but I am gonna put my 2 cents in on your comment. I read over things again to see if I missed something. I saw alot of commenting back at a post that some one made. Just as I see alot of commenting back on the voting thing. In my opinion everyone has a right to say they don't agree with something that some one said. I don't think it is "bashing" or "ganging up".. it is just voicing an opinion. You may not like my post.. that is ok .. you can tell you me don't like it. My point I guess is that we all have the right to voice our disagreement with what some one says , we also have a right to agree with it.

very true Minty as we all have our own opinions and we speak freely of them doesn't mean everyone likes everything, everyone says, and that is just us being human

Personally, I don't worry too much about mudslinging. Go to the candidates' headquarters and pick up their position papers. Check out their voting records if they're incumbents, or have held prior offices. Then you can make up your mind. You can always write in if you don't like the candidates.

You of course have a right not to vote, but with a little effort and research, you would see the differences between the candidates and make an informed choice.

/e wonders what this mudslinging is about, the voting post? If so I am sorry I said anything!

If it is about prior post, well.. I think it is in my best opinion to keep my mouth shut. Like Minters said, why is the past postings being brought up again? I was going to comment on Islanders post. But I felt it would not be a nice reply. So I zipped my lip and took the batteries out of my keyboard

We are all prolly gonna need a little help with the Holidays coming up! So shall we focus on those?

/e walks out of the room with a dumbfounded look upon her face, GASP Holidays Already??? I best start cleaning!

Mudslinging is when one candidate badmouths another candidate. Minty said she didn't vote and doesn't feel guilty about it because she didn't like the mudslinging that was going on -- presumably during the campaign.

Mention of the word 'mudslinging' made me misunderstand. Have other people been using the word mudslinging?
