The Soundtrack to Sleepless in Seattle - makes me think that Jimmy Durante would have sung a great duo with Harry Connick, Jr. hehe

Nothing on here at work right now. I share an office so it's hard to get agreement on what to play, and I'm too paranoid to insulate myself with headphones.

This morning in the car, Savage Garden. I can't seem to go more than a couple of days without plugging in the Affirmation CD...

Darren Hayes - Spin. Or, as it's advertised on the front of the CD: "the voice of Savage Garden with a sound that's all his own."

Hm.. well. It's about 50%. One really great song, one really bad one. A couple of weird, gotta-be-in-the-right-mood songs, and half a dozen good ones. The biggest problem is, he seems to need someone to tell him when to quit. A perfectly good song can *end*, it doesn't have to fade out with 30 seconds or more of repeated choruses and vocal improv! And he likes his falsetto too much - it's not bad, just overused. I like his normal voice.

But...CAN YOU DANCE TO IT?

<g>

I'm not listening to anything right now, but I think I'm about to put on some Belle & Sebastian. Probably Tiger Milk.

Some of it, I could dance to. Some of it, I think it would hurt to try! (But that's just a sign that I'm too old, right? <g>)

I'm listening to the sweet sound of silence, i just got the kids to school a bit ago. In my car on the way to school we listened to U2 All That You Can't Leave Behind. Beautiful Day is a great song first thing in the morning.

Dexy's Midnight Runners - Old

I've always loved this band, and Kevin Rowland, no matter how deep the end he went off of <g>.
