Sorry computer acting up so I only use it a few times a week until I can afford to replace it. I think that is the best Idea I have heard in ages. I promise I will log in every other day and write a post!

I like your idea about posting every day, etherea. I'll try to...and hopefully, so will others. There was a time when things were jumping here so well that if I missed a day, I'd have to read for an hour or so before posting! Then there were the evening chats. I really miss them.
I'll definitely be back tomorrow, and maybe we can jumpstart this. |

Yeah, I'm good. Good news from the surgeon on Thursday. Brace adjusted for more freedom of movement, new exercise regime and more weight baring all with a view to being ready to rock and roll at my next six week consultation. So, yeah, impatient ass that I am, can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And You, everything good in your world?

That's great news!! Glad to hear you are on the mend. As for me, wet weather is raising hell with my hand and knee. Hope all are ok.

so much for onwards and upwards. Saw the physio yesterday who informed me that I was doing fabulously and would get the brace off when I saw surgeon in 5 weeks. Ice pick in forehead? I would then be signed up to 4 months of gym work. I want and need to get back to work (sanity) before much longer. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Yeah. I was told that the rehab would be long but it still is a bit disheartening. I am going to suggest though that I return to work in November and attend gym sessions when I can. One can but try! Anyway on a much lighter note. First migrating geese passed over this morning. I don't know why but it gives me great joy to see and hear these birds on their twice yearly journey!

Oh yes! Using the stairs with one crutch for support rather than weight bearing. stairs are an issue because I live on the top half of an old building so have no stairs inside. Have been practising on the windy old outside steps leading up to my apartment. A big step (pardon the pun) forward!!!!
